“I discovered this place when I was on the Oak Leaf Trail, I cycled past it many times before and stopped by finally, I bought the Bavarian hot dog which was excellent and the Hard Cider which was as well! I'll be stopping by when I'm on the trail “

“The BEST brewery in Milwaukee! MUCH better place than the other hype breweries that are on the "best of" lists in the city. The beer is always interesting, well thought out, and delicious. The taproom is roomy and chic with nice outdoor seating in the warm weather.“

“Small quaint little brewery that is somewhat hidden on the Greenfield Avenue. You could easily walk past it. Beer selection was definitely serviceable. The silent disco was very interesting. It's is small so be prepared to be a bit cramped. Nice little beer garden out back when the weather is nice.“

“We have always loved the beer at lionstail. They now have in-house pizza, which is yummy. The staff has definitely gone down hill. We have been going since they opened and never had unfriendly service. Tonight was different. We had a giftcard we just got this past January. It was slightly bent. The bartender couldn’t get it to work and told us to go to Wauwatosa to use it instead. In the plus side the owners are still great and have said they will replace the giftcard for us.“

“One of our new favorite breweries, Torzala is truly a hidden gem. It’s one-of-a-kind atmosphere is quiet and cozy yet so welcoming. The owners and bartenders are incredibly friendly and have a “strangers are just friends we haven’t met yet” attitude. We loved our time here and can’t wait to go back soon!“

“In one point in time, Pabst was the largest brewer of lager in the world. Do the beer history tour to find out why this is the Best Place. In all honesty, I didn't think I would enjoy this tour as I'm not into beer. It was more interesting than I thought it was going to be thanks to the tour guide/ speaker. The tour is $14 and includes a pint of beer or soda.“

“Very nice set up and atmosphere. The baristas are always friendly. For some reason the crowd always seems off putting whenever I enter though, almost judgey. I haven't been there in a while so maybe that has changed. The chai tea latte is amazing there!“

“Huge open brewery. Their selection of home brewed beers will have something for everyone. It is pet friendly. Really like the self service watering station. Bubbler for locals. Water fountain for non Wisconsinites. They have 4 huge garage door which would make nice weather days a awesome environment. Definitely recommend and will be going back.“

“Great brews, great service and great food! Came here on St. Patrick's Day but a little on the late side but still served quickly and still got our orders in before the kitchen closed. The ordering system is nice and easy and loved the vibe of the brewery. The blackberry and boysenberry pie sours were SO good. The sour wasn't mouth puckering but very balanced with the sweet and a stellar finish. The double burger I got with swiss was really delicious. Perfectly cooked burgers with that amazing melt on the cheese and a soft bun, I was in heaven! Also tried some of the phoenix balls, which I definitely enjoyed. Great spot for a bite and a beer - would've taken some beer to go if I wasn't flying out the next day!“

“We held a pre-wedding event in the Lumber Room. The space is beautiful with a great sound system. Bar service was fast and friendly with great drink options. The small prep room was perfect for us to setup food prior to the event. And Celina was super helpful before and during the event to make sure everything went smoothly. All this helped create a memorable evening for the bride and groom, their friends, and their families.“

It was a slow start but really grew on us. The beers were good. The abv was lower but the beers were also a bit more refreshing. It was a good menu, great space, good service, and a good time. It strikes me as an "old money" brewery. Everything is deceptively nice. Look at the bar, the rugs, the bathrooms, the walls. It's a nice place and very understated. We were surprised by how dead it was, there were only 2 to 8 other people besides us.“

“We love Urban Harvest Brewing due to the family atmosphere as members of the mug club and all the events that involve the club and the general public (i.e. block parties and fundraisers). I absolutely love how owner Steve supports his community and organizations like the Wisconsin Humane Society and his patrons. “I can't believe it's taken me this long to review Component Brewing. It was one of the first breweries I visited when I moved to Milwaukee. It was in an entirely different location then, so this was my first visit to the new taproom. Such a comfortable and fun spot! They have so many different events, including an ASL Guided Brewery Tour (which is quite unique) and a monthly book club. I originally stopped by to drop off books for their used book sale, but I stayed for two beers. Very friendly staff and appear to be highly engaged with their community. There was a nice variety of styles on their beer menu. I tried a pilsner (I believe?) and an Oktoberfest (because it was the season). Both very tasty! I enjoy the atmosphere of this brewery and the type of community they seem to be building.“
