“Fantastic food and atmosphere! The clam chowder was delicious. We shared the beer battered fried cod and the beer battered fried walleye dinners. Both were perfect with just the right amount of crunch and delicious fish. We loved it and will be back :) the bartender's service was great to boot! He even came to the table to check on us. That was a really nice touch!“

“About 15 minutes outside of downtown Lake Geneva, this is a hole in the wall burger joint. My family and I love coming here for a casual meal and are always fully satisfied. The homemade chips are DELICIOUS! They pair nicely with any of the burgers on the menu. They also have a French onion dip for the chips that elevates them even more. The mozzarella sticks are also very good.“

“Glad I found this spot. Really good burger, probably can’t beat it for the price in the area. Fresh cut fries. Really good cheese fries. Found out the cheese sauce is made in house. Burger and large cheese fry for $15. Worth every penny. I’ll be back with more people especially after a round across the road. Merktz cheddar fries.“

“My first time there with two of my friends while road tripping on our bike's and I have to say it was a great experience. We were able to pull our bike's right off the road and park right in front. My first impression was this place looked like an old western salon! The layout is crazy cool. Once inside the atmosphere was even better. This place is a great rest stop for any bikers out road tripping. You won't be disappointed. Oh and by the way the name of the bar it's self is worth checking out.“

“Went for the 10 Years show and had a great time. The venue is pretty small, but seemed to have just enough space where we weren't crammed in like sardines. Although it did get quite warm, and had to step out several times to cool down. When we first arrived it was really had to get drinks, but once the show started it was a little easier. I would go see another concert there, maybe go earlier and try the food. #waw #adulting“

“Love me some Sandlots! I come for the Gumbo, honestly, but I've had a few other things on their menu, and have not been disappointed. I love that they offer a 'Southern' menu, and the corn beef dinner for St Patty's Day is the best in the area, hands down. I have very few critiques about Sandlots (I wish their tartar sauce for the fish fry wasn't sweet)- I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a low key bar/restaurant in the area that serves great food!“

“From the outside looking in, I was drawn to in with the blinking lights. However, it could use a bit more lights to mark the entrance driveway.Once we entered, we were curious with how the food would be. Other reviews appear to wonder about this as well. The interior atmosphere is filled with antiques and charm. The video slot machines is what I believe give reason for pause. The very reasonable prices might even make folks wonder as well! :-)When the food arrived, we didn't have to wonder anymore. The ribs, the salad, and the hot dogs we ordered were all excellent!Now that we're over the hump of wondering, you'll want to come back more and more. The price AND TASTE will not scare you!“

“Our family of 4 , 2 adults and 2 young children went for lunch, and we all loved it !!! The service was fantastic, and our server was excellent ! The food was fresh , very tasty and presented very well. I think we were all actually suprised just how much we liked it , it was that good!!!. The salad was one of the best I've ever had , and they offer small and large options for them which is great. The soup was so flavorful and filled with chicken. My husbands wrap was delicious, and the fries were very good as well. We decided to try there banana bread pudding to go and we enjoyed it very much even after warming it up later!! It was a great experience that left us talking about what we will order next time. This is a great spot and we hope it's here to stay !!Kid-friendliness: They offer free kids meals on Tuesdays with the purchase of an adult meal ! Good kid menu , very good price point especially considering the portion size ! They had a little Easter photo op spot as well!“
