This place is the absolute best restaurant gem around! It's the pinnacle of Asian comfort food and with the amazing staff and hospitality, it is a Home Run of eateries in the midwest. Spread the word because Matsumoto is a must try for any food enthusiast, of any age.
The best ramen in the area. Not only because there isn't any real competitor in the region but the ramen here is actually great. Having move to the area from California I haven't had any Asian food thats comparable to the great options and quality from CA until I came to Matsumoto Ramen House. It's a drive from La Crosse but definitely worth it.

Everything was so delicious. The pork was melt in your mouth tender. And my friend says the mochi was amazing.Wheelchair accessibility: There is an incline going in. It doesn’t meet ADA rise to run ratios, but it’s manageable with a wheelchair. Just be prepared for steep.
