Donny's Glidden Lodge Restaurant offers a fantastic dining experience with warm and friendly service, delicious food, and beautiful views of Lake Michigan. The crispy and fresh veggies in the salad, perfectly cooked trout, and flavorful shrimp appetizer are highly recommended. The tenderloin, loaded baked potato, sautéed onions, and roasted potatoes were cooked to perfection. The Oreo Cheesecake for dessert was a highlight. The atmosphere is unique and gorgeous with big windows overlooking the water. The classic stone-walled rustic building adds to the charm. The King Cut Prime Rib and 12oz Filet were excellent choices. The cheesecake dessert was fantastic. The staff, including Joanne who has been there for over 26 years, provided incredible service. Visitors can also enjoy high-end bourbon tastings. A highly recommended dining option in Door County for a fancier dining experience with waterfront views.
