“I stopped in to Thirsty Pagan Brewing to try a couple of their brews. They had 9 of their beers on including an Amber, American pale ale, dark ale, west coast IPA, cream ale, an orange cream, pineapple pale ale, pilsner, and a Hazy IPA. Pagan has a nice outdoor seating area. The bar area had plenty of space with high ceilings, with lots of the historic feel that you expect in Superior. The service was friendly and fast. Pagan a full bar and a pizza and app menu if you get hungry. The Superior/Duluth area has a ton of brewery options and you should put this one on your list.“

“Shelly and Chelsea, have always been super respectful and also super helpful. They remember guests which is amazing and immediately makes you feel you feel like more then a guest. They are awesome. They're nurturing when you need them to be, they're sarcastic when you need them to be, they're your best friends but also super fair. I come here when I have my friends in town from the cities, because it's a superior attraction. They're awesome. and people love them too.“

“Great place to go with a gluten allergy. Flavors are clearly marked if GF, the workers washed their hands, got a new scoop and even scooped ice cream from a new tub in the back instead of display tubs that could have cross contamination. All I asked for was a fresh scooper. They went above and beyond!“

“I could cry tears of joy - for the first time since needing to eat gluten and dairy free I had Cookie dough ice cream on a waffle cone. It was delicious and I wasn’t sick afterwards. Such a delight! The rest of our family loved their regular dairy ice cream too!“

“Let’s get real… I stopped in to check out the Pharm Juice Bar in Duluth today. I selected an açaí bowl that felt interesting and asked about the granola because sometimes granola has nuts in it and I have a nut allergy. The gal behind the counter kindly let me know it contained almonds and offered to leave it off—great, awesome! My bowl ended up coming out with the granola. Mistakes happen BUT what matters is how you react. My fiancé kindly let them know we had ordered the bowl without nuts. He picked up on my exhaustion right away. The gals working there were amazing! Not only did they correct the mistake, they also went above and beyond to make it up to us. Having a food allergy is exhausting, but it’s great to know there are awesome places like this willing to go the extra mile to make it easier. Plus this açaí bowl was AMAZING!! Seriously, go check them out! All my love—Alison“

“Love this place and make it a point to stop when we drive up North. The ceiling on the way to the restrooms is beautiful and mesmerizing (sounds weird I know) but trust me. The beer was great with a nice variety. Patio is dog friendly. It was pouring and foggy and perfect.“

“The Cajun Finn is hands down the best sandwhich I have ever had in my life. I now know what I would want to have for my last meal if I were on my deathbed. 10/10, highly recommend. Thank you Northern Waters Smokehaus for literally turning my day/mood around with your delicious sandwich!“
“Very cool brewery in downtown Duluth. The owners and their dogs were all friendly. They have a modern vibe, live music, tons of space, with more seating in the back. They had 16 beers on for my stop including: a hefe, blonde, pepper, dill, wild berry tart, blood orange pineapple mango, peach sour, a Belgian strong, cranberry Belgian strong, a pale ale, hazy IPA, NEIPA, West coast IPA, and a Imperial Stout. I liked the Belgian and the stout. I am sure I will stop back again to try more.“

“I'll start by saying cocktails aren't normally my thing but I was on vacation with family and this place is awesome! The staff is amazing - our server last night was phenomenal and she was super patient helping me find a drink I would like!! If I return, it will be due to the atmosphere and the service. Maybe I'll even have a few cocktail ideas ready to go ?“
“Fitger's is a very popular place that I learned about from my son-in-law who fishes in the area. I can only confirm what thousands of people already know. If you missed Fitger's, you missed Duluth. It has a couple of hundred years of family owned tradition and holds to a high standard in preparing food and brewing beer. Fitger's is adjacent to the boardwalk along Lake Superior and a short distance from the Duluth trading company.“

“This place was incredible! An hour here wouldn't be enough to get a good look at all this place has. The different food seasonings, soups, cheese, dressings, pasta toppings and sauces, it was remarkable to take it all in. This is a spot worth checking out at the Fitger's complex.“

“A sweet little hole-in-the-wall place that offers a nice list of delicious drinks. Service was friendly and accommodating of my needs, and I loved browsing the beautiful art while I waited. I like that they have the On the Record Music and Arts Magazine, too; any place that supports Duluth's underground local art scene gets my full support in return.“

“Historic brewery in Duluth. It is buried inside the old brewery which now hosts several businesses. The tap room is in the old barrel room which is a great environment for having a beer or two. If you have a big group they have some overflow space.
On my stop they had 8 of their beers on tap including: an apricot wheat, starfish pale ale, an American lager, oatmeal stout, hazy IPA, sour dragonfruit, another lager and a dunkle that is really quite good. Everything is pretty good but nothing really blew my mind. They do serve food in the barrel room which is great. Service is good and they have a full bar for those less inclined to breweries. Stop and have a good time.“

“While our food was good, we were a party of 8 and apparently they are unable to seat a party of 8 all at one table, though no one told us that when we checked in. Would've been nice to know.“

“Visiting my niece and she suggested Burrito Union for lunch as it is across the street from her house. Great suggestion. The server was very attentive and pleasant. The margarita was well made, priced well, and tasted great. Our tables food choices included Ultimate Tacos, a chicken quesadilla, and a Buddha bowl. Not one complaint from anyone. We all loved our choices. I personally had the Buddha bowl with carnitas, sweet potatoes, and poblano corn. I wish I lived in Duluth, because I already wish I could have it again. Great experience. Will visit again in a month.
Parking: Street parking is abundant. We were there Labor Day weekend and found parking easily. There is also a free parking lot across the street.“

“During our vacation in Duluth, we dined at Mexico Linda Restaurant twice and had a fantastic experience both times. The food was consistently fresh, hot, and arrived quickly. We especially loved sitting on the outdoor patio, where the view of Lake Superior was stunning. The staff was friendly and made us feel welcome. I tried a Chimichanga for the first time, and it was delicious! If you're in the area and looking for great Mexican cuisine with an incredible view, this is a good place to go.“

“The cheese tray was lovely, but over priced for the amount that is on it. I would buy one more often if the price was more reasonable, but it was wonderful for a special occasion. The outdoors seating is beautiful and there is heaters and even blankets to sit on. Nice touch.“
