“Visited Thirsty Pagan years ago and absolutely loved every bit of it, especially the rugby history and pizza. In Superior for a cabin weekend with my rugby team so had to drop in for dinner on our way into town.
Could not have been happier with our evening. Steve, the owner, heard wind we played rugby and gave us a personal tour of all the rugby memorabilia. What an absolute joy to hear the history of Duluth Women’s Rugby Club (and I guess the men too).
Pizza is Detroit style-esque and soo tasty. We had their supreme type and Mediterranean and I can’t wait to finish our leftovers. Salads, beer, and brownies were also amazing.
Service was superb even before the rugby connection was found- same as I experienced years ago. And Steve was so sweet to give us a discount on drinks.
So glad I came back. Definitely making it a stop on all my Duluth/Superior trips going forward.

“Shelly and Chelsea, have always been super respectful and also super helpful. They remember guests which is amazing and immediately makes you feel you feel like more then a guest. They are awesome. They're nurturing when you need them to be, they're sarcastic when you need them to be, they're your best friends but also super fair. I come here when I have my friends in town from the cities, because it's a superior attraction. They're awesome. and people love them too.“

“Let’s get real… I stopped in to check out the Pharm Juice Bar in Duluth today. I selected an açaí bowl that felt interesting and asked about the granola because sometimes granola has nuts in it and I have a nut allergy. The gal behind the counter kindly let me know it contained almonds and offered to leave it off—great, awesome! My bowl ended up coming out with the granola. Mistakes happen BUT what matters is how you react. My fiancé kindly let them know we had ordered the bowl without nuts. He picked up on my exhaustion right away. The gals working there were amazing! Not only did they correct the mistake, they also went above and beyond to make it up to us. Having a food allergy is exhausting, but it’s great to know there are awesome places like this willing to go the extra mile to make it easier. Plus this açaí bowl was AMAZING!! “This spot became my new favorite when visiting Duluth. The coffee was so good. My wife and I purchased a classic caramel latte and the fall season special, the cinnamon apple latte. The flavors were incredibly balanced and tasted like it was made in shoppe, which they are. The next day we came in and tried their pumpkin spice latte, I am not going to lie, the best PSL we've ever had.
The baristas were super helpful and friendly, it created a great atmosphere. This will be a staple for us from now on.“

“Fitger's is a very popular place that I learned about from my son-in-law who fishes in the area. I can only confirm what thousands of people already know. If you missed Fitger's, you missed Duluth. It has a couple of hundred years of family owned tradition and holds to a high standard in preparing food and brewing beer. Fitger's is adjacent to the boardwalk along Lake Superior and a short distance from the Duluth trading company.“

A. Stellar service from genuinely good people. The entire staff is amazing.
B. The selection of brews and THC tonics is wonderful. I HIGHLY recommend the Golden Apple!
C. Nowhere better to throw axes! You can rent a lane or join a league and compete with (or against… 👀) friends.
D. HUGE BACKROOM for parties that I only just found out about when they threw a Halloween bash and had two DJs going (one in each room) with different vibes. They have amazing local talent constantly, and it’s a great space for music.
E. Not feeling the dancing or axe throwing vibe? Perfect, they have plenty of tables to sit and eat at!
F. THEY HAVE FOOD! The pretzel is so delicious 🤤

“There’s more than bowling at The Incline Station. The Spot is a separate bar and grill. It’s across from the Radisson where we are staying. Marisa, our bartender provided great service. There’s a full bar with local beers on tap. Good place for large crowds and there’s a patio. Don’t miss this hidden local gem.“

“Historic brewery in Duluth. It is buried inside the old brewery which now hosts several businesses. The tap room is in the old barrel room which is a great environment for having a beer or two. If you have a big group they have some overflow space.

On my stop they had 8 of their beers on tap including: an apricot wheat, starfish pale ale, an American lager, oatmeal stout, hazy IPA, sour dragonfruit, another lager and a dunkle that is really quite good. Everything is pretty good but nothing really blew my mind. They do serve food in the barrel room which is great. Service is good and they have a full bar for those less inclined to breweries. Stop and have a good time.“

“We came to Burrito Union for the first time this week after living in Duluth for 4 years. Shame on us!!! We split a Rasputin (It is HUGE) and ordered some chips with guac and salsa. Our server Simon was FANTASTIC. Attentive but didn't hover over us. He was fast and very friendly, but not fake friendly. The food was PERFECT. The burrito was very flavorful and it tasted fresh which is a biggie for us. The chips were probably the best chips I've had in Duluth. I know its small but I hate greasy or soggy chips. The salsa was pure perfection. We tried the Garden, Tomatillo, and Salsa Verde salsas and they also tasted wonderful and had the perfect amount of heat. Not bland like most Minnesota salsa, and not OMG I'm sweating to death hot. They do have an option like that, and I'll be trying that next time! My only complaint is that we didn't come here sooner. We'll be regulars now.“

“I go there 1 or 2 times a week never had an issue with the speed. Until today. At 1130 I went up and ordered a brownie she gave me my table tent for it and sat down your lunch rush came in and was served there food came out in a timely manner. at 1145 still waiting for the brownie. at 12:00 I finely waved mg table tent which got a mangers attention but he got pulled away and sent someone else else to.see what I needed. it shouldn't take us to flag someone down to get a brownie. you guys where having an off day today I guess“

Review:
I ordered the Chipotle burrito. A generous portion size with great ratio fillings. I was worried there was going to be less meat filling but I was surprised. I ordered steak meat as the option, well seasoned and nicely chared.

I arrived just as the restaurant opened. Service took a little while to get my order. I would like to come back next time to see how the restaurant normally operates later in the day to give a more fair review of the customer service. Overall staff was friendly and helpful on explaining food options such as local favorites and staff favorites on the menu.

I would recommend this location for Mexican cuisine in the duluth area.“
