“This was our first visit to the restaurant. We were out of town for the night and wasn't sure where to eat. This was kind of a celebratory night, we had been married for one month. Patty was our waitress and she was simply amazing! When she asked what we were up to and told her she congratulated us and even asked to see some pictures. Our food was delicious. I had the filet mignon and my husband had a burger. Also deserving of a mention was the white chocolate cheesecake we shared for dessert. It was to die for! Great food and great service, we will definitely be back in the future🙂“

“Celebrated my daughter’s birthday with 17 people…Tim was outstanding with reacting to us just stopping in with no reservations! He was able to accommodate us with the longest table in the bar area and also assigned Avery as our bartender and order taker. Plenty of appetizers and pizza’s to boot! Tim also tossed in a round of shots for all! Very impressed, all with a full dining room and never skipped a beat. Definitely will be back as well as highly recommend!!!“

“Lovely long time diner located in Thurston Woods neighborhood. The Hoppel Poppel is excellent, as are the country fried steak and biscuits and gravy. Polishing off an already big, healthy meal, you can't resist their fresh cinnamon rolls.“

“This "hole in the wall" bar is a must stop. I love visiting bars like this because of the community they provide. I was welcomed by the locals and had great conversation through my visit.The area is out in the country and can be tricky to find. Once I arrived, there was plenty of street parking as well as a lot in the back The inside was charming with a vintage vibe. Drinks were strong and their menu is lengthy. I ordered a cup of the soup which was styled after the Reuben sandwich. The corned beef was excellent. The soup is creamy and flavorful. I have tried to stop by again but they are only open Tuesday through Thursday. I wish I had checked the menu it because the reviews online show a fish fry but I'm not sure if that's available daily since they're closed on Friday? I hope you find out soon!“

“Overall, this was a great spot to grab dinner after a day of disc golf at Brown Deer. Excellent service. It was busy when we went but we never had to wait long for anything. Crowd seemed mostly 60+ i don't think I'd bring the kiddos. Vast majority of the food was excellent, my only complaint was the tuna appetizer. The slices were not of even thickness so some were too fatty, chewy and undercooked. Would also pair much better with a soy based gaze than random pita triangles and upscaled tartar sauce. All said however, would go back. 8/10.“

“Stopped in recently for the first time and had the crispy chicken sandwich. It was the best chicken sandwich I have ever had. Crispy, juicy and hot - served on a toasted brioche bun with fresh lettuce, tomato and a creamy mayonnaise. The Kettle Chips were perfect. Good price and great service. You can tell they care about what they do. Looking forward to trying the meatball sub.“

“Can't speak to the other reviews. Staff are friendly, food is excellent, service was quick. We have been trying to find great fish frys around the area, and this is one of the best. The pieces are thick, soft but don't crumble apart and the tartar sauce has a great homemade flavor you don't find in a lot of places. Potato pancakes are THE best we have come across. Seasoned perfect with that onion/chive taste but eat like a great hashbrown. Colesaw was a light white dressing with a lemon/vinegary taste.

Well worth the visit. We look forward to coming back other nights to try the rest of their menu.

“The chicken was hot and fresh. The only problems that I have is that the chicken doesn't taste the same. One time I ordered and it was more like a cajun seasoning and the next time it was just regular. I prefer the cajun taste. The other problem is with there sides. They don't have a large container and anyone that has seen their small container knows that 2 doesn't equal a large. The small containers aren't even full.“

“For DECADES, the Gerndt Extended Family has patronized and enjoyed getting together at Family Table. It was my Parents' favorite place to go and they were very regular customers there. When in town and since I moved back here from Ioea to help care for my parents in their last years, they lived to 95 with Alzheimers, up until the very end I took them to Family Table where we were always treated very well. We especially love the portions having another meal or two to take home, and previously free desserts with the meal which understandably due to the economy even many years ago, that bonus was stopped. But we still love there dessert assortments with me loving their Strawberry Cheeseake! My daughter and I especially carry on our Family Tradition at Family Table, getting together with my son and his wife, my sisters, my nieces, friends. We would love to see them open again on Sundays as it was a great place to go after Church. Hopefully they can get staff to open Sundays again. Even during the Pandemic we loved the way they all learned and properly wore their masks as we continued to patronize Family Table using their carry-out, especially their Friday Night Fish Fries which are spectacular!!! Today, my sister and her husband are here from Lake of the Ozarks near Camden, MO, and where did sister invite us to meet? Yup. Family Table! Great Food, Reasonable Prices, Large Portions, Excellent Service, Wonderful, Comfortable Relaxing. Quaint Atmosphere. I had the Pork Chops Special, w Pork Chops fried covered in mushroom onions gravie meal which included my Baked Potato with Butter and Sour Cream, Salad, and Corn. Super Delicious!!! Every one else's meals were delicious as well. Ehen my Dad and Mom passed away, i told the Manager and staff and they remembered them well and would miss them. I have not been able to frequent the Family Table for several months due to medical issues, but as things get better I/we will be back for sure on a regular basis. “I loved them when they were in Glendale, glad they’re now in Thiensville. This restaurant is so welcome and inviting. I’ve eaten there 3 times so far and plan many more. Two notes. 1.) I had duck sausage at the Glendale location many years ago. I’d love to see it return, even limited. 2.) Your fries are great. I’m looking for a suitable replacement for baaree fries after they closed. You need sour cream/chive dipping sauce for them.“

“Surprisingly good. Made a reservation just to try a new fish fry so we went to 8900 Bar & Bistro. Easy parking for a Friday night. We were warmly greeted, staff were very friendly and attentive. The fish fry was extremely good and this restaurant offers combinations so I tried the cod and shrimp. The serving size was huge for the money, I actually made two meals out of this. “Had a wonderful time tonight at Mr. Bruce taphouse in Menomonee Falls went in there with no reservation. The place was jumping. My friends band is playing and I wanted to get a seat to band. There was nothing available but the owner Greg graciously offered us succeeded at his table with his friends, which was just a wonderful, wonderful gesture that Not many people would ever do. We had a awesome manager Rachel. We had a wonderful little server. that was, I can’t remember her name, but she’s cute as a newborn puppy and we had awesome food but the thing that really amaze me was the graciousness of Greg the owner and I can’t recommend a brewhouse enough.
