“Just kept saying how delicious it was the entire time I was eating. I got the pesto sandwich and they were super friendly and easily accommodated my dietary restrictions (no dairy/vegetarian) without any issues. The pesto is delicious and the sandwich wasn’t too heavy, perfect way to start off the day!“

“Very queer/trans-friendly atmosphere, server was very attentive while still allowing my girlfriend and I to enjoy each others company. Food was excellent, drinks were excellent, all around great little hole-in-the-wall date night place. 10/10 would recommend! Well definitely be back. ☺️💜“

“Went on a Wednesday afternoon, since I was on campus for work that day and wanted to try something new. They had the special of buffalo chicken wrap, grilled or crispy. It was SO good. I’ve been thinking of it since 😂! The had generous amounts of chicken on it, which is always nice. The service was excellent too. Definitely will be going back when I’m on campus again. 😋“

The bar itself has some of the best local, national and international beers served in town. And served in proper glassware.
The back bar is stocked with a wide and varied selection of high quality whiskies and spirits.
There is something here for everyone.

“Our wedding at the union was fantastic! Sam Mack (venue coordinator) was a great communicator and all of the Union Staff was incredibly attentive and helpful throughout the planning process and day-of. We had our ceremony in Tripp Commons and our cocktail hour and reception in Great Hall. The food was good (not the best I've ever had, but also not the worst), the cocktails and drinks were great, and it was so nice not having to make a million different decisions. They really guide you through the process which was exactly what we were looking for. The Union has done hundreds of weddings and it really shows. The whole day went very smoothly and the price was right! Would highly recommend, especially for UW grads!“

“College visit with the daughter and we dined here with friends on Saturday 28th Sept and being originally from the UK, and seeing the fish and chips were haddock (not cod) I immediately had to have them and they were the best fish and chips this side of the “pond” having put up with 12 years of “just ok” fish and chips, these were amazing. Not only were the fish and chips good, but every dish was a winner. I am now praying my daughter gets into the college as I will be a regular here.“

“My group of about 14 people came for the fish fryI I had the walleye deep fried with sweet potato fries. they were great the brandy old fashion which was all great. Service excellent. It was somewhat loud but bars a always loud“

“They didn’t have the vodka brand that I prefer (popov) and they don’t put enough cola in their Long Island ice teas. Other than that the staff is attractive enough to warrant the 5 star review. John looks much younger than he appears to be. He is helpful despite his obvious mental deficiencies.“
