“GOOD GOLLY OH MOLLY this place SLAPS. Let me tell anyone reading this, this place is WORTH IT. I had the absolute privilege and pleasure of trying their food and will most certainly make this restaurant a staple. The roasted coconut drink (no photo as I drank it as fast as humanly possible) was great, almost like Nab Vam with tapioca jelly strips but a very rich coconut flavor. The Thai coffee was creamy, full flavored and delicious. The mango sticky rice had remarkably fresh mango, finished off perfectly with a sweet coconut cream. And a personal favorite, pad see ew, was some of the best I’ve had. The sauce was present but not too soupy or heavy— just the right amount to flavor the dish very well. The vegetables were fresh, crisp and bright against the dark soy and oyster sauces. The beef was tender, and the portions were good. While picking up my order I got to chat with the staff and relax inside. The interior is cozy, well decorated and clean. The staff were all insanely nice, showing me orders coming out of the kitchen so I could know what to get next time, love this spot!“
“I truly enjoyed the customer service given to my husband and me from DJ. DJ was very helpful and patient with us as we asked questions about the menu. DJ's customer service was amazingly friendly. “My family came here for our first visit on Friday. We had been given plenty of recommendations from friends on what to order here. We tried the crab ragoon, gyoza, and pork buns for appetizers. We loved the pork so much. For meals we tried the sushi which was all super fresh, and tankatsu ramen. Delish but the pork pieces were very big and hard to cut with no knives. I recommend you serve them sliced more. Really liked the food. Service was a little slow but it was busy in there. No waiting area and no reservations detracts from atmosphere points. I would come again though based on fact the food was so good. Menu is huge. Come hungry.“

“A group of friends and I go to different restaurants every Friday night and we've been to Bangkok House many times. The food is always delicious and the service is great. It was especially great the several times we visited in March. The waiter, Clint, was super friendly and accommodating. He remembered us and always treated us well. I always get the chicken Pad Thai, but my friends are more adventurous and tried several things and liked everything they ordered. The chef did a great job of preparing everyone's food with the correct amount of "heat" they requested. The place has a nice decor and always looks very clean.“
“I’ve tried the Spicy Teriyaki Chicken and also the Teriyaki Salmon..They’re both pretty good. Any dish you order comes with your choice of rice and veggies. I got the Brown Rice and ordered it without onions or zucchini. The Broccoli that came with it was nice and fresh and complimented the chicken well. Their egg rolls are legit and crispy. It comes with a sesame oil type sauce. They do have soy sauce packets and also extra Teriyaki sauce bottles if you want to put more on your food. If you want the meal it comes with a soda and I believe an egg roll..I’d recommend this place to anyone wanting a quick, decent and somewhat healthy meal.“

“Atmosphere is very unique. Staff is friendly and helpful. Visited for dinner. Ordered the coconut shrimp. Was very good with sauce provided. Also ordered the French fries. Loved how they made it with the sauce. Very crispy till the end. Had the Banh Mi. Unfortunately this was where I had to drop a star. Meat and filling was great. However, the bread roll was not baguette style and crispy. Soft and more a hoagie style. Banh Mi bread should be a crispy. So for me, will order other items and not the Banh Mi. Otherwise I look forward to trying the Ramen and other items.“
“Cool little spot to try some Nepalese or Chinese. At first, I was confused because they show up as two different places. The Chinese and Nepalese restaurant are combined. When you sit down, the waitress brings two menus, which is interesting. I had some cauliflower curry from the Nepalese menu, and it was DELICIOUS! There was lots of ginger and heavy spices (which I appreciate). The rice was over cooked and the chai tea tasted like it was from an instant mix, but the curry was so good that it overrode those drawbacks in my rating.“

“Nice little place in the third ward area right on Water St. Nothing fancy inside but the pan Asian menu is pretty amazing. We had the veggie egg rolls, Tom Kha soup, Beef noodle pho and the drunken noodles. Adding shrimp put the main entrees over the top. I asked for a spicy level of 3 out 5 and it was just enough to tickle my spicy hot spot. Service was great and we were served very quickly. Overall a wonderful little place and we plan to be back!“

The sushi varietals were outstanding, service was very good, enjoyable contemporary ambience, and noise level was moderate. Pricing was a bit high, as we've come to expect in the Third Ward. Kanpai is a little short on red wine selections. There's a perfect space on the menu for one or two red blends. We'll be back!“
