I ordered through door dash so had no idea it was in the food court, I thought it was a lower east side establishment, something further away from me, that would require me to come in and sit at a bar to order... And when I tell you it taste like it was, the broth the cook on the steak, you can't tell me that they wasn't a more upscale establishment. This might have just became my favorite spot.
I had the volcano steak ramen and it was AMAZING! The only thing I can critique was that the steak was overcooked just a tad, as I had ordered medium-well and it was cooked well-done. But even that is not enough to dock a star because it's THAT good. I eat a lot of ramen and loving trying new places and this is up there at the top.
I had the chicken katsu rice and had the beef brisket ramen last time. Beef brisket ramen really is on fire! It was so flavorful and the beef was so tender. Katsu rice is okay, curry is not so strong and chicken was crispy and tender as well. Definetely coming back 😋

Zen Ramen and Sushi is a restaurant in a mall food court. Many are surprised to find it there. The food does not seem like mall food court food. It is more like fancy restaurant food. The broth, the cook on the steak, and the flavor are incredible. The volcano steak ramen is AMAZING. The steak was overcooked just a tad, but it is THAT good. The beef brisket ramen really is on fire. It was so flavorful and the beef was so tender. The chicken katsu rice is okay. The curry is not so strong and the chicken was crispy and tender. The volcano noodles and the $1 sushi balls are incredible. The spicy beef ramen is to die for. The tonkotsu ramen and the beef volcano ramen were salty and good. The food, the service, and the flavor are great. The customer service is great. It is the BEST ramen in Milwaukee. It is an incredible addition to the food court.
