“I was just there this afternoon and it was the best service I’ve ever had at a restaurant. From the moment we walked in the door until the moment we left, everyone that was working today was absolutely amazing. “I went in at lunchtime, service was quick and the food was amazing. I got the Axo Omelet with homemade potatoes. The potatoes were delicious, and the Omelet was great with cilantro and avocado ontop of it. I will be returning as the menu options all sounded so good that I had trouble deciding what I wanted. My next try will be the biscuits and gravy with chorizo! The staff were also really polite and seemed happy to be serving me food, I appreciated that. Its awesome to have some good breakfast place within walking distance from my apartment!“

But what really makes Broken Bat so special especially to the city of Milwaukee is they care about the people and the surrounding community. I ordered the hot latte with white chocolate and it was fantastic, served with nothing but smiles. I’m not someone who eats things that are on the sweet side but decided to indulge in the mini pancakes (crazy mix) and they were soooo good. I look forward to coming back. I also learned they are open late and as someone who doesn’t drink much I look forward to testing out the atmosphere in the evening sometime.“

If I could complain about one thing, it's the consistent lack of salad. I've come three Fridays now, and every time, the salad is completely gone, which is the only side I can have. They can't have one of the best ranches and not carry enough salad that they run out every Friday I've been here! I end up paying full price but leave with no side.

I hope the management sees this and addresses the salad stock, because otherwise, this place is a huge winner.“

“Went for the first time today for a doggo lunch date with muh fur baby. Wonderful staff and quick service. I noticed negative reviews complaining there was dogs, well no crap it’s the business model and there’s an actual picture of a dog on the door and logo. ANYWAYS price is a little steep but when I got my food holy cow it was delicious. And I love that they have dog friendly menu items available as well. The place is super clean for the amount of guests and animals that come through. Loved that the food pickup and service area is separate from dining. The only downfall was I did pay for pickles and there wasn’t any but I didn’t even notice it until I devoured the first half of my food. No big deal. I ordered the steak sandwich and strawberry limeade which I also love is made by hand with fresh fruit. My dog is now sleeping in a food coma as am I.“
