“I had ordered a pizza last night from Alphonso‘s and I thought it was the absolute worst pizza I ever had when it arrived at my house. It was almost burnt. I called and complained to the manager. He said he would do everything he could to make it up to me. So I stopped in today and they gave me a pizza and one of their sandwiches and I haven’t had the sandwich yet because I’m too full from the pizza, it was a night and day difference From yesterday to today. It was excellent.“

“We stopped there at about 630 pm on a Friday for fish fry. They accept reservations but we didn't make one and they were able to actually get us in pretty quick. Service was fast and friendly and fish was delicious! I would definitely recommend!“

“We were traveling through on our way to Chicago, and I looked up a local place for lunch. Nice had great reviews, so I decided to try it. It did not disappoint. I had a turkey and gouda sandwich. It was very good. The sweet potato chips were also really good. Bonus was the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine. However, today I only wanted water due to drinking a big diet coke on the drive and they still charge $3 for a cup, or I could purchase a bottle of water, and I had those in the car too. They have signs on the door for no outside food and drink. But the food was good and if I lived in the area, I would be a repeat customer.“

“Heard really good things about Chef Paz so I had to give it a try — and it did not disappoint! I went there with my family, and from the start we were impressed. They offered natural juice, which was amazing and super refreshing.

We ordered plantains and the flavor was on point. The chupe de camarones was incredible — rich, flavorful, and comforting — and the ceviche con camarones y pescado was absolutely phenomenal. Every dish was fresh and perfectly seasoned.

Honestly, 10/10 for the food. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for authentic flavors and a great family dining experience!“

The venue was absolutely perfect for the German Oktoberfest theme we were going for. The food was great and the staff were welcoming and prepared. We come here weekly like clockwork now - before moving here it was my choice when I’d come up from IL to visit (when it was my time to pick) - for the Jacks, Ecto Cooler & the Parm fries but also for the EXCEPTIONAL service by Katie. She helps me navigate this large, fabulous menu & she has never steered us wrong. She is so knowledgeable, fast & friendly. I only wish every place had a Katie to accent a menu this delicious. “This was our 1st. time here and it certainly didn't disappoint! Atmosphere was really nice, cozy but still fun. Our waitress Eliza was super, checking on us but never pushy. She gave us some great recommendations that were absolutely delicious. We started with sharing a cup of corn and crab chowder, beet and goat cheese salad and sautéed crawfish with crossttini. Everything was fantastic, not to spicy hot just seasoned well. Main course was also great, steak and mashed potatoes....super tender and juicy steak came out exactly like we ordered...perfect meduim rare. That doesn't happen often. Also had the blacken salmon with asparagus and beans and rice. Again can't say enough it was delicious. Then to top the evening off we shared the beneignts with a fruit sauce. YUMMY Kudos to you all the chef and waite staff and Eliza for a great dining experience.“

“This family-owned Chinese restaurant is amazing! I ordered the chicken fried rice and chicken dumplings. The fried rice was served warm and was perfectly balanced. It was golden-brown, savory, and flavor-packed. I couldn't resist it! The dumplings were excellent as well. They were very savory and were truly mouthwatering.
The environment of the store is very nice as well. It's a chill place that's not too loud and is decorated in nicely. The employees are very kind and friendly, and the owners are great people as well. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone in the area looking for some authentic, delicious Chinese food.“

Noodles with pork and peppers was very tasty. Lots off garlic.
The prices are a little higher than normal for Asian food. No lunch menu available.
