“From the moment you walk through their corner shop door, you feel like you've entered a familiar and comfortable place. The service and atmosphere are just what you want out of a local coffee shop. Andy and Anya were super friendly and conversive. And she makes a fantastic cortado! The Cream City Brick and the nods to the local hometown make you feel like you've entered something truly Milwaukee. The coffee is great; it's now one of my Go-Tos anytime I'm in the area. It’s big and has lots of tables to accommodate a large crowd, which is nice, since it does look like it gets quite full. We were there on a Saturday morning, around brunch time, and the place was still popping.Being on keto, I just stuck with the coffee and skipped the pastries, though I’ve been hearing good things about them as well. All the coffee comes sweetened unless you ask for no sugar.I got the Marib, which is their medium roast with cardamom. I did enjoy the ethnic experience, though I must say, I’ve never had coffee with cardamom before so it was a bit powerful, though pleasantly so. I would like to try it without the cardamom next time just to taste their straight black coffee. It looked like they just added cardamom powder to the coffee, so maybe I can ask them to give it to me on the side and add it after trying just the black coffee.Also, I was pretty swamped on this first visit, but now that I’ve come home and researched a bit and know what cascara is, I would love to go back and try their cascara coffee - maybe the Sheeba, again with ginger and cinnamon on the side and then added later maybe.I love being able to try new things and finding something I like. The people working here were very nice and excited to share their knowledge with me. Their candor is dope, Devin is a wizard of brewed things and trust me, the bagels (everything bagel is my fav), croissants, macrons & bread loaves (the pizza bread is amazing for grilled cheese sandwiches) are fantastic. “Unique lattes that make this a special coffee shop to come to in Milwaukee. I had the experimental Pirate Lyfe latte and I somewhat regret that decision. There was a distinct bitterness that didn’t go well with the other flavors. The atmosphere of the cafe is very calm and this makes a great place to read or study. The worker was nice and the latte making process is very visible. It was a cool place but it could’ve been better.“
“Love this place, best var for craft coctails on the west side of milwaukee/suburbs. Been here so many times, food wise they just have a few simple apps like a giant pretzel, or a cheese platter which are all fine, tgey dont have a full menu butnypu can vring food if you want. Drink wise they have a nice selection of craft beers and a changing list of craft cocktails based on the season. There are unique flavors, and something for everyone from sweet to dry and everything between, all well balanced. Its in on old fire station so there isnt much indoor seating but lots outside & a gas fire pit for warmth.Parking: Only street parking available“

I try to call ahead every time but no one answers the phone. Not ever. I’ve called probably 10 times in the past 2 months. I dislike that my dog and I have to walk all the way there just for them to tell me I can’t order the only thing I want. My dog doesn’t care cuz he still gets a pup cup because he will scream like an infant if he doesn’t get one. His eyes light up anytime we’re near nomad. Service is great regardless.“

“I was introduced to this super cool coffee shop through a Yelp event and, for that, I am super grateful. It's a coffee bar with a large indoor space - lots of tables on the main floor and there's a second floor with additional seating as well. In addition to coffee and snacks, they have a bar with really good drinks, pizza, and sandwiches. We stopped by here after a date night at Glassnote next door for a bite to eat before we met up with a few friends for more drinks. We got a margherita pizza, which took about -25 minutes to get to us. You would think that for a coffee place, the food would be mediocre, but that is NOT at all the case! The pizza had a really nice thin crispy crust. The sauce was full of flavor and the olive oil on top was *chef's kiss*. The cheese was sparse (like a true Margherita), but the whole pie was easily one of the better pizzas I've had recently! They also had a live band when we stopped by, which added a very cool vibe and for a Saturday evening, it was super busy with all kinds of people - some socializing, some working. We didn't imbibe at this visit, but have had their espresso martinis before and they are truly top notch and I highly recommend!“

“We walked in after a meal to play some pinball and had such a wonderful time. The Honeybear dinky donuts are so tasty and also love the classic cinnamon sugar donuts too. The small size is a perfect bite of dessert and allows you to try multiple flavors. Also absolutely love the 80s/90s pinball and arcade machines. Fun atmosphere and super friendly hosts! “Let me start off by saying that my opinion on the taste of my coffee is most likely not the average opinion. I have more of a sweet tooth, so the sweeter the syrup flavor, the happier I am. The Coffee quality is better than average. The customer service was very nice and felt welcoming. The atmosphere was really nice for anyone to sit in and enjoy some time there. Ordered the Madagascar vanilla hot latte, but there is not enough flavor for myself. Ordered a hot chocolate and simply not enough flavor than average coffee shop so it was quite disappointing. Would still recommend someone to try it out.“

“Love a good coffee shops. This location is very unique. The old pumping station, that has kept a lot of the infrastructure intact. It's a authentic view of some of some very impressive engineering.And the coffee part is pretty nice as well. Plenty of the usual drinks offering, and lots of seating. I ordered a London Fog latte. It was good, but lacked the typical foam head. Next time I will ask for extra.Will definitely stop next time I am at the lakefront.“

They are patient and kind in helping you decide what to order, and keeping your tab open in case you want to order again. They collect your dishes and make your visit very enjoyable. “A friend and I met here recently to try out their boba. I was craving boba tea, so I suggested we meet here. Neither of us had ever been here before. Bambu is located in a small strip mall. There is seating for about 12 or so folks, and I found a table easily. It was hard to pick from the menu. For a small place, there is an extensive menu list. So I ended up with a coconut mocha coffee with plain boba and it was amazingly delicious. There are so many other interesting flavors and drinks to try, along with smoothies, teas, chè, waffles, and others. While we were there, there was a steady stream of customers coming in, some staying in, and some going out. We were there about 45 minutes and by the end. The interior could use some upkeep (paint/walls). But, the staff were super friendly, and the drinks are great.“
