“For the 3rd time, I have watched and listened to the owner/operator have meetings with his employee management team from that location. The man's voice is deep, loud and it carries. The employees look embarrassed and uncomfortable. I know that I speak for myself and others, we're uncomfortable listening to it. And it's disruptive to someone's lunch break away from the office. May I suggest that you move these meetings into the playground room instead. I've noticed that the playroom is usually empty. Even if there were 1 or 2 people in there, I'm sure that the employees would feel less embarrassed and there would be less customers to disturb.“

“Not sure of the name of the woman who works mainly in the early am (she has glasses and is there around 7-8 when I normally go) she always remembers my order once she hears me say hello or good morning! she's a fantastic worker and deserves a raise for sure!! :)“

“They came to Myrtle Beach for the fall rally and let me tell you they were very excited 😊 they were so sweet and always had a smile on there faces I would tell everyone about them I hope to see them again in the spring for the rally those young men were very respectful and honest I love they way they carried there self you have so great people working for your company“

“I am always telling people about Avenue! I love every drink I end up getting whether it is a latte, a refresher or a Matcha. I usually lean for the banana pudding Matcha and I love trying their different seasonal drinks that they come up with! They have added so many different food items to their menu, which I have also been loving! While this is a smaller neighborhood style coffee shop, they have so much to offer! Definitely come for the great food and drinks, but stay and hang out for the vibes!
I will probably be back several times this week for another banana pudding Matcha“

What’s not to love? Saturday’s often bring a table or two of vending from local artisans. Their monthly socials benefit local spots like the library, and nonprofits. My only wish for this spot is for better signage on the outside so more people can find it!!“

A+ customer service, I ended up getting a speciality drink and honestly want the biggest fan based on personal taste. “It is my first time here. I was interested in the fruits pastries and wanted to try since I've seen it posted on social media. I got the Raspberry which is one of the popular pastries. I was expecting a more soft mousse filling inside. The coating taste great. The pink mousse feels more like a jello mouse and the filling tasted like strawberry jam of some sort. This dessert was around $10. Overall I give this pastry a 8/10. I bought the chocolate dubsi brownie which is around $10. Im not sure how long it has been sitting out but the kataifi is dry. Brownie is a bit dry as well. Overall 4/10.“

They were delicious even later into the evening, the tasting was amazing, communication was great, and they were very transparent about pricing which seems to be difficult to find in the wedding industry. This is the go-to place if you want donuts for your Milwaukee area wedding!!“

“Super friendly staff. VERY quick order to food on the table time. Had the pork belly Benny and the carnitas con huevos and both were fresh and delicious. The hash browns (added onions) were some of the best I’ve ever had. Got an order of the French toast with Caramel and candied pecans and that was also very good. Heard they feed seniors for free on Wednesday so going to send my parents over there next week! Any place that treats seniors that was is worth patronizing. We’ll definitely be back!“

“We had a large group gathering (about 20 people) at Dia Cafe for a breakfast and it was amazing! In advance, the staff we coordinated with responded quickly to calls and emails, and they were very friendly and accommodating. On the day of, they had spaces reserved for us and the drinks and food were out in a very timely manner, especially for how large our group was. Everything was delicious! The atmosphere itself is also so wonderful, the kids in our group stayed occupied with the toys and games they have available, which was so great. Everyone had a lovely time, and many people commented on how generous the portion sizes were and how they were excited to have leftovers to bring home. Also, we had someone who is vegan, and Dia was very accommodating for his dietary needs.“

“Coffee shop/bar - happing place. Smell of Coffee is wonderful, lively conversation, bright windows (look like doors open during summer), but back area is darker with a more intimate feeling. Sampled several beers and enjoyed all of them, especially the Bruv - it tastes just like an ambrosia salad (I know, not really beer like, but perfect for dessert). Staff was all very friendly.“

“My friend, Margaret, introduced me to Hillside. Great place to meet and catch up with friends and family. We went for the delicious, specialty coffee, but were more than tempted to see the yummy pastries available. They also have homemade breakfast sandwiches for sale. Staff has always been more than accommodating whether they're at the counter or as Barista. Also, look forward to their Cinnamon Rolls available only on Sundays. Rose, the owner, and former baker, has hit a home run with this place. She's sweet as a peach and her shop is very warm and welcoming. You'll find beautiful, hand crafted and delicate pastries to go with your fabulous coffee. Love this place and hope it's part of Oak Creek for a long time to come.“

“Excellent recent experience. We visited on a Thursday afternoon. That made our tour group very small, just two adults. Very welcoming greetings with the staff. The best part is the presentation of the tour. If you enjoy great presentations of history, neat tidbits you might not get from videos or books, this is definitely for you. Jess was helpful when I couldn’t get up the menu because the QR code was a bit too small and far away. She gave me a great suggestion and walked me through all the options. Jess was friendly patient and extremely delightful.

The picture in my review had cold foam on it when I got the coffee, but by the time I got home and had me melted into the coffee. I live two minutes away.

That was the only thing I didn’t like. I could barely even get the taste effect of the cold foam. A little bit more would’ve been nice.

More than likely, I will come back to try it again. Mainly due to Jess and the friendly staff.
