“There is 3 young gentlemen that work in the South Milwaukee, WI drive thru and are the 3 most respectful younger people i have seen at any mcdonalds, since i have worked there. Smiling, saying have a great day, and making small conversation with you. and when there was a problem with a drink one actually said, "sorry mam did you want ice in that one?" i dont know their names but thank you for making mcdonalds better with 3 young respectful gentlemen. i really enjoy just going through on the weekends especially just because they are so kind.“

“I now come here almost daily. They have the best espresso in Milwaukee and I drink their Americano black. I changed it up today and got a pumpkin spice latte, and it came out SO PRETTY!

Lake Effect is separate from the church but they do partner with others in the community including a Macha pop up, and they even allowed me to do a little pop up to celebrate AAC awareness month!

I can't forget to mention their awesome bakery, with some muffins and cookies baked in house and their tasty treats from City Market and Carries Crispies!“

What’s not to love? Saturday’s often bring a table or two of vending from local artisans. Their monthly socials benefit local spots like the library, and nonprofits. My only wish for this spot is for better signage on the outside so more people can find it!!“

The best part is the presentation of the tour. If you enjoy great presentations of history, neat tidbits you might not get from videos or books, this is definitely for you. “I have only visited the Sun Prairie location since October 2023. My go-to is the breakfast sandwich and my son, who is very particular about his French Toast, says it's his absolute favorite. “Stopped by Qahwa House today and had an amazing experience. I ordered a Caramel Macchiato Frappe and later added a Spanish Latte, and both drinks were absolutely delicious.

What really stood out was the customer service. I was sitting in my car with my child, and the staff kindly brought the drinks out to me without me even having to go back inside. That level of thoughtfulness and care is rare and truly appreciated.

This wasn’t my first time getting drinks from Qahwa House, but today’s experience was phenomenal. The drinks are always great, but the service today went above and beyond.

“My friend, Margaret, introduced me to Hillside. Great place to meet and catch up with friends and family. We went for the delicious, specialty coffee, but were more than tempted to see the yummy pastries available. They also have homemade breakfast sandwiches for sale. Staff has always been more than accommodating whether they're at the counter or as Barista. Also, look forward to their Cinnamon Rolls available only on Sundays. Rose, the owner, and former baker, has hit a home run with this place. She's sweet as a peach and her shop is very warm and welcoming. You'll find beautiful, hand crafted and delicate pastries to go with your fabulous coffee. Love this place and hope it's part of Oak Creek for a long time to come.“

“Great little coffee shop with good drinks and pastries.There's not much in terms of ambiance as it's in the lobby of a building, in front of a set of elevators, but it's good enough to grab a coffee and snack.There is minimal seating, so you can't go with a large group, but fine if you're solo or with a couple of others.“

Heard they feed seniors for free on Wednesday so going to send my parents over there next week! Any place that treats seniors that was is worth patronizing. We’ll definitely be back!“

“First time here. Recommended to me by a friend. It is a nice location, just a short distance from the lake. They have patio seating outside, although it was a little too cold for that today, and a decent size seating area inside. There are different size tables for two, four, or larger groups. It is located on a corner, with lots of tall windows that let in plenty of sunshine.

When we arrived at 10am, there were a few other small groups and no wait to get our order in. I got a London Fog Tea Latte and a chocolate chip scone. No issues with getting my latte in a mug with a little lavender and vanilla. They were also able to warm up the scone.

After a little while, which is required for the right amount of steeping, the drink was ready. They did a great job. The texture was right and the flavor was good. It could have been a bit hotter, and I really need to remember to ask for that. My bad. The scone was also very good. It had the right scone texture, not like a muffin pretending to be a scone. A little dry and crumbly.

Over the next two hours the space filled up quite a bit more, but the noise level was never too loud to make conversation difficult. People were having quiet conversations and it stayed comfortable.

“I tried 2 tasty warm items today a feta and spinach pastry and a chicken croquette. I would say these are some of the tastiest things I have tried in a long time. Flaky pastry with a buttery taste and a croquette with the chicken that was so flavorful! What a lovely place. They also offered other warm items, pastries and a lovely seating area and free internet. I will come again. Perfect for coffee, small groups, families or to do work on the computer.“
