“We had a large group gathering (about 20 people) at Dia Cafe for a breakfast and it was amazing! In advance, the staff we coordinated with responded quickly to calls and emails, and they were very friendly and accommodating. On the day of, they had spaces reserved for us and the drinks and food were out in a very timely manner, especially for how large our group was. Everything was delicious! The atmosphere itself is also so wonderful, the kids in our group stayed occupied with the toys and games they have available, which was so great. Everyone had a lovely time, and many people commented on how generous the portion sizes were and how they were excited to have leftovers to bring home. Also, we had someone who is vegan, and Dia was very accommodating for his dietary needs.“

“It is my first time here. I was interested in the fruits pastries and wanted to try since I've seen it posted on social media. I got the Raspberry which is one of the popular pastries. I was expecting a more soft mousse filling inside. The coating taste great. The pink mousse feels more like a jello mouse and the filling tasted like strawberry jam of some sort. This dessert was around $10. Overall I give this pastry a 8/10. I bought the chocolate dubsi brownie which is around $10. Im not sure how long it has been sitting out but the kataifi is dry. Brownie is a bit dry as well. Overall 4/10.“

“My friend, Margaret, introduced me to Hillside. Great place to meet and catch up with friends and family. We went for the delicious, specialty coffee, but were more than tempted to see the yummy pastries available. They also have homemade breakfast sandwiches for sale. Staff has always been more than accommodating whether they're at the counter or as Barista. Also, look forward to their Cinnamon Rolls available only on Sundays. Rose, the owner, and former baker, has hit a home run with this place. She's sweet as a peach and her shop is very warm and welcoming. You'll find beautiful, hand crafted and delicate pastries to go with your fabulous coffee. Love this place and hope it's part of Oak Creek for a long time to come.“

“I am always telling people about Avenue! I love every drink I end up getting whether it is a latte, a refresher or a Matcha. I usually lean for the banana pudding Matcha and I love trying their different seasonal drinks that they come up with! They have added so many different food items to their menu, which I have also been loving! While this is a smaller neighborhood style coffee shop, they have so much to offer! Definitely come for the great food and drinks, but stay and hang out for the vibes!

The best part is the presentation of the tour. If you enjoy great presentations of history, neat tidbits you might not get from videos or books, this is definitely for you. “Super friendly staff. VERY quick order to food on the table time. Had the pork belly Benny and the carnitas con huevos and both were fresh and delicious. The hash browns (added onions) were some of the best I’ve ever had. Got an order of the French toast with Caramel and candied pecans and that was also very good. Heard they feed seniors for free on Wednesday so going to send my parents over there next week! Any place that treats seniors that was is worth patronizing. We’ll definitely be back!“
