“Such a lovely coffee place. We picked the cute corner for some good coffee and chit chat. The coffee’s we picked were really good. My friend loves matcha coffee and she said it was simply the best.

“I now come here almost daily. They have the best espresso in Milwaukee and I drink their Americano black. I changed it up today and got a pumpkin spice latte, and it came out SO PRETTY!
Lake Effect is separate from the church but they do partner with others in the community including a Macha pop up, and they even allowed me to do a little pop up to celebrate AAC awareness month!
I can't forget to mention their awesome bakery, with some muffins and cookies baked in house and their tasty treats from City Market and Carries Crispies!“

“La Finca is a little hidden gem here in St. Francis. From the personable employees, to the delicious food and drink, and their support of local organizations and small businesses. What’s not to love? Saturday’s often bring a table or two of vending from local artisans. Their monthly socials benefit local spots like the library, and nonprofits. My only wish for this spot is for better signage on the outside so more people can find it!!“

This isn’t just espresso; it’s artistry.
It’s alchemy.
It’s what happens when coffee decides to put on a silk robe, light incense, and whisper poetry.
The first sip? Floral, creamy, soft — yet confident.
That oat milk-kissed espresso wrapped itself around my palate like a warm hug from the universe. The lavender honey syrup added a gentle sweetness, not loud or perfumey — just enough to let you know she’s divine. The rosewater? A subtle spiritual elevation. The candied lemon powder? A bright kiss on the finish. And the fleur de sel sealed it — a tiny spark that made every flavor stand at attention.
I tasted everything. Every intentional note. And with each sip, it only got better.
By the time I reached the bottom of the cup, I wasn't ready to say goodbye. This was easily the best espresso-based drink I’ve ever had. A soft, luxurious symphony in a cup — one that made me close my eyes and appreciate the moment every single time.

“This place is 👍 great the employees 👏 always welcoming. I drive from Greenbay area every month to buy 2 or 3 bags of coffee ☕️ sometimes I get there min before close after they have cleaned the machine to grind my coffee bags and still they go out of their way to help me out thanks guys“

“Excellent recent experience. We visited on a Thursday afternoon. That made our tour group very small, just two adults. Very welcoming greetings with the staff. The best part is the presentation of the tour. If you enjoy great presentations of history, neat tidbits you might not get from videos or books, this is definitely for you. “I have only visited the Sun Prairie location since October 2023. My go-to is the breakfast sandwich and my son, who is very particular about his French Toast, says it's his absolute favorite. I'm not a coffee drinker but their Chai is my favorite when I'm out and about. Don't forget to ask for the cheesy potatoes!“
“I went to Scooters for the first time and was honestly so surprised by how nice and kind the lady was. She gave me and my sister stickers, which I thought was so cute, and she was just really friendly overall. I’m definitely coming back to Scooters again because the employees seem so sweet. The drinks were really good and smooth. The only issue I had was that my drink wasn’t very cold when I got it, so I had to wait a bit since it was an iced coffee. But so worth it. Their drinks are nice and smooth.“

I was pleasantly surprised that you can enter the cafe directly and they have Rishi teas. The barista was friendly and they have a variety of spaces available to work, relax or chat. This neighborhood is lacking in cafes, so I appreciate having this option.“

They were delicious even later into the evening, the tasting was amazing, communication was great, and they were very transparent about pricing which seems to be difficult to find in the wedding industry.
