“What a pleasant surprise my husband and I had when trying some place new (we are locals). This place puts Panera, Jimmy John’s, and any sub place to shame! To top it off, the customer service was amazing, and the owner was eager to meet his customers and help his staff. I’m so excited to have this place as our go to now for lunch and dinner. The three-meat dinner option — beef tenderloin, chicken, and ham — along with the full salad bar, mashed potatoes, seasoned vegetables, potato salad, pasta salad, and warm dinner rolls was nothing short of amazing. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The team went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. “Excellent service, excellent food. Some of our group had prime rib ( some of the best I have ever had anywhere), some had steak, some had fish. All said food was top notch. Had cheese curds and spinach dip appetizer. Wonderful. Strong drinks…nice change, and a best ever grasshopper. I wish we lived closer. We would come often! Happened in when having our family Christmas weekend. Wonderful place. Worked with our celiac guest without issue. Highly recommend!!“

“Did the wine pairing dinner last night. Who would think to put seafood with bean soup? It was absolutely phenomenal as was the cheese souffle and the pork with baked squash. Every bite was a true culinary experience and the pricing is insane. $39 for a 3 course meal and 3 wines. Mike is a true master chef and the House of Embers is a true gem in the Dells. Reading through some other opinions of a low rating just simply does not align with the experience we had last night, and have had multiple times over the last couple years. I really believe if the dinner last night were offered in the big city it would command a price tag of $300 per person and be impossible to get reservations for. We are blessed to have this place. And if the tourists don't like it thats fine by me actually.“

“Reserved the 3 bedroom loft. More than enough space for a big family with full kitchen and utensils. The bathrooms are huge...we think it's wasted space but nice to have. pantry. A lot of space for storage. We stayed on a weekday and price was reasonable if sharing with other family.“

“This restaurant was VERY busy when we were there for lunch, but I think they must be used to serving capacity crowds. Our meal (shrimp and soup) was well prepared, served in a timely manner, and the whole restaurant seemed to run efficiently. We'd stop again for a quick lunch while we're on the road!“

“We wanted to try a different restaurant in the Dells, this place was amazing! Tried the Duck Bacon Rangoons, absolutely to die for! Soo good! My husband had the steakhouse burnt ends sandwich, I had the B3 burger- both so delicious! We didn't want to stop eating... the food was THAT good. Our daughter had the cheese pizza and loaded mashed potatoes, she had a second helping of potatoes and scraped her plate clean of them! Our waitress was fantastic as well. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a phenomenal meal in the Dells!! We will be back in the future and will refer friends to try as well! Thank you Lake City Social!!“

“I stopped in on Veterans day to grab some dinner. I had never been there before and did not realize they offer a complimentary dinner to vets. Needless to say the staff was great, especially the bartender, Tyler, who not only made me feel completely welcome but was also very down to earth and very easy to conversation with. “Such a fun place! We went on a Monday night in the off-season so it was fairly quiet but was still a lot of fun! We were initially disappointed to not be seated at the main train display but soon realized we had our own personal train that delivered our food and we still got to see the fun of the main track. Since it wasn’t busy we got up to look at the main displays - the details are amazing. Onto the food/service: our server was nice. We ordered everything to come via train so we didn’t see her that much but that was fine. We got cheese curds, a personal pizza, and a buffalo chicken sandwich. All were good - the sandwich was huge! We would come back again as it was a fun experience and I imagine in the peak season with a full restaurant, the chaos really adds to the experience.“

“Our family had a fantastic stay at The Vue. All the staff were knowledgeable, helpful, and genuinely friendly. The rooms were clean, well cared for, and smelled clean. The amenities were the best feature. The kids and I had a multitude of choices of fun to do within a 10 minute drive of our hotel. This made our stay convenient and packed full of great memories.“
