The total was $13.49. “I wanted to update my review. I forgot that I had been there 10 years ago. Me and my son went there after doing some kayaking. We sat at the bar and had the coolest server, she was fun, and kind and efficient. Nice find! The food was so much better than I had prior. I had a salad with chicken and it was well made and tasty. Nice improvements! Keep it up! We will come back!I wrote this 10 years ago:The food was mediocre at best. The waitress we had was ok, she was polite and friendly. “Went out for Friday fish!We went a little later after 8PM. They were out of a good number of fish, but the hostess told us that prior to seating to ensure we wanted to stay. I thought that was very thoughtful!Fresh buns were served at the table and they were so soft!Salad bar was basic, but good!I got cod and the batter was so good! And we all had their homemade fresh french fries which were supper! I personally like a little floppier of a fry so I was happy.I had an old fashioned sour and honestly one of the best I’ve had!Our server was continually apologetic about things that were out of their control and made sure we had everything we needed.Overall I’d give our experience an 85%. For sure room for improvement, but they’re new! I can’t expect 5 star service from a place just restarting… I can’t wait to see them grow!“

“We went this past sat with friends. 5 of us had drinks plus food. Were in no hurry and susie was busy.. former owner. Tamtam. (TAMMY) also off duty stepped in. We had so much fun. Plus the burgers were stellar. We all.loved our food ham n cheese plus the bacon burger roll ups. We got a couple great songs from susie. We cant wait to visit again. I'd say go. 5 of us plus drinks under 70.00. Run there and support your local small town establishment. I hope they remember us when we return. My mouth is already watering for a burger.“
“What a great tiny local diner. Stopped with our friends on Sunday morning and the place was packed with locals. The service was great and they were walking around with free fresh fried donuts while waiting. Food was fantastic. This is not a big fancy place but it is exactly what I want from an old local diner.“
“We go here regularly and really enjoy the breakfast/brunch menu. The corned beef hash is one of our favorites, offered as part of a "Skillet" or a breakfast combo, as well as a side dish add-on. It is well seasoned (using Pleasonings) and flavorful. The pancakes are light, fluffy and flavorful as well. My favorite however is the "Haystack", which is biscuits and say gravy over a bed of crispy hash browns, and two eggs on top of any style. As a tip, for those wanting to lighten up their order that normally incy hash browns are a side, fruit may be substituted for a small charge. The coffee is pretty good, and is refilled plentifully. Service is always friendly, efficient and fast, even when they are busy.Parking: Plenty of free parking adjacent to the front and sides of the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: There is parking adjacent to a wheelchair accessible ramped sidewalk to the doorway. There are plenty of tables and space to accommodate dining from wheelchairs.“
“Culver's, how we love you freshly made butter burgers, fries and your own brand of Root beer . The service is friendly and quick along with the restaurant always being clean. We look forward to the featured custard specials. It's a pleasure after ordering not having to wait at the cash register for the order as it's brought to us at the table. Don't tell anyone, but I always take an extra cup root beer home with me.“
“We head up to Wisconsin multiple times a year & this will now be a "must stop"on every trip. The food, the view of Lake Wisconsin & last but certainly not least Helens "wit & humor" make it a very enjoyable stop along the way.“
