“We ate here before the Chris Young show in the middle of that dang snowstorm. It was our first time! From the minute we walked in and were greeted by the host staff and welcomed by our server at the bar, we already felt like we were being treated like royalty. You feel so welcomed, immediately. After a cocktail, our hostess came and found us for our reservation and we were seated at a cute window seat, overlooking the Christmas lights. Our server, Alex, was OUTSTANDING. I cannot stress enough how much we enjoyed his company and his conversation. We were, again, treated like royalty. 1 billion out of 10 for all of the front of house staff...especially Alex. At this point, if the food was terrible I wouldn't have even cared. But. It. Wasn't. Calamari 10/10 (light batter and melts in your mouth), my Ceasar Salad 10/10 (the dressing was light and flavorful and I almost asked for a bowl of the croutons) I ordered a NY Strip medium rare, baked potato, mushrooms 10/10 (cooked and seasoned to perfection, at this point Ive eaten so much food I think I'm going to die, but I couldn't stop), my friend had the Queens Cut Prime Rib, baked potato, and asparagus 10/10 (again, cooked to perfection, super flavorful, and the asparagus was huge and delicious). Alex asks if we want dessert and I said I literally can't breathe. ...He came back with a chocolate mousse anyways...how he knew my weakness, I'll never know. So, go for the food and the staff. These folks are doing it so right. We can't wait to go back!!!!“

“We wanted to try a different restaurant in the Dells, this place was amazing! Tried the Duck Bacon Rangoons, absolutely to die for! Soo good! My husband had the steakhouse burnt ends sandwich, I had the B3 burger- both so delicious! We didn't want to stop eating... the food was THAT good. Our daughter had the cheese pizza and loaded mashed potatoes, she had a second helping of potatoes and scraped her plate clean of them! Our waitress was fantastic as well. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a phenomenal meal in the Dells!! We will be back in the future and will refer friends to try as well! Thank you Lake City Social!!“

“We had Stuffs Family Restaurant and Catering cater our daughter’s wedding this past Saturday, and it was absolutely wonderful! The three-meat dinner option — beef tenderloin, chicken, and ham — along with the full salad bar, mashed potatoes, seasoned vegetables, potato salad, pasta salad, and warm dinner rolls was nothing short of amazing. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The team went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. They were professional, attentive, and even took the time to introduce the menu and ensure that every guest was well taken care of. The food and service truly elevated the evening — we received so many compliments from our guests! If you’re looking for exceptional food and outstanding service, I can’t recommend Stuffs Family Restaurant and Catering highly enough. They helped make our celebration perfect!“

“I stopped in on Veterans day to grab some dinner. I had never been there before and did not realize they offer a complimentary dinner to vets. Needless to say the staff was great, especially the bartender, Tyler, who not only made me feel completely welcome but was also very down to earth and very easy to conversation with. The food and hospitality were exceptionall but I have to say Tyler's welcoming personality really put my first experience at Moosejaw over the top!! AAA+++ Thank you Tyler“

“Such a fun place! We went on a Monday night in the off-season so it was fairly quiet but was still a lot of fun! We were initially disappointed to not be seated at the main train display but soon realized we had our own personal train that delivered our food and we still got to see the fun of the main track. Since it wasn’t busy we got up to look at the main displays - the details are amazing. Onto the food/service: our server was nice. We ordered everything to come via train so we didn’t see her that much but that was fine. We got cheese curds, a personal pizza, and a buffalo chicken sandwich. All were good - the sandwich was huge! We would come back again as it was a fun experience and I imagine in the peak season with a full restaurant, the chaos really adds to the experience.“

“Did the wine pairing dinner last night. Who would think to put seafood with bean soup? It was absolutely phenomenal as was the cheese souffle and the pork with baked squash. Every bite was a true culinary experience and the pricing is insane. $39 for a 3 course meal and 3 wines. Mike is a true master chef and the House of Embers is a true gem in the Dells. Reading through some other opinions of a low rating just simply does not align with the experience we had last night, and have had multiple times over the last couple years. I really believe if the dinner last night were offered in the big city it would command a price tag of $300 per person and be impossible to get reservations for. We are blessed to have this place. And if the tourists don't like it thats fine by me actually.“

“I ordered a couple pizzas and an order of wings on a Friday night. The wait time was about hour (as I expected). Order arrived right on time, the wings were EXCELLENT even after being packaged up and transported and the pizza was hot fresh and very tasty. Service was friendly and even carried it into my condo. Definitely will be coming back.“

“3 star instead of 2 for two reasons. First and foremost was the bartender/server the night of 05/01/24. Really nice guy, especially to our kiddos. Second is the concept. The loaded tater tot ideas they have are good. Serving size on the loaded tots were good as well. However, execution is inconsistent at best. I'll start with the good. I had the torta tots. Pork was super tender and flavorful. Ancho chili sauce was delicious. "Pico" had banana peppers, which was actually a nice twist. Tomato & onion chunks were way too large. 3 starts overall on that dish. Mainly cause of the pork and sauce. Next were the pizza tots. Pep and sausage were decent. Sauce was a MAJOR fail. Not everywhere needs to do a homemade sauce obviously. At least use a good pre-bought one though!!! It might has well have been straight, crappy tomato sauce. Lastly, STAY AWAY FROM THE MAC & CHEESE TOTS UNLESS YOU UNDER THE AGE OF 5!!! How are you gonna be a bar/restaurant (not a crappy hole in the wall bar) in WI AND PUT KRAFT MAC & CHEESE ON SOMETHING OTHER THAN THE KIDS MENU!!! (Kraft in kids menues in WI is also questionable in my opinion). It was saved by half a star due to the ok cheese sauce and then made a little bit better by paying extra for the bacon. Also, ditch the paper on the bottom of the loaded tots. It disintegrates, and your guests end up digging the paper out of their food. Lastly, don't bother with the cheese curds. WAY OVERPRICED FOR HOW MUCH YOU GET!!!“

“If you don't like bland food then you will need to request that them to make it spicy. Our needs from the food perspective were taken care of. We ordered Vegetable Fried rice (ok'ish), vegetable Lo Mein (ok'ish), and tofu kung pao (good taste). They do include a tip on the bill so you don't have to tip unless you want to. They do have a large buffet but we being vegetarerian did not justify taking buffet. We ordered through the menu.“
