“Our waitress was phenomenal! She was attentive to our table even when she had what seemed like 10 other tables in her section. She was quick to ask if we needed anything. She offered suggestions and had multiple tables with more than 4 people at them. Food was delicious as always. When the kitchen missed the bacon for our burger she brought a plate of extra! It was peak season on a Saturday and we didnt wait much more than 20 minutes for a table! I absolutely recommend the raspberry shandy as well!!“

“We were staying at Chula Vista as part of a group and invited for a BBQ. We arrived early so we went to the bar where it was happy hour. The bartender was great. It wasn't too busy yet and she was wonderful to talk with. The BBQ they hosted for our group was quite substantial and delicious. The hamburgers were thick and juicy, the frankfurters were huge and then they had bratwurst. They served all the fixings for them along with potato salad, salad, and housemade potato chips. The servers were very attentive taking empty plates and refilling drinks and very nice. The restaurant was very clean. We didn't have enough time to eat here again during our stay but wish we had.“

“We came in on a Saturday night with 12 people including 6 kids and the we were seated immediately. It was about 530 which was perfect for us The atmosphere is very good and the food is even better. I don’t remember the waitresses name but she didn’t miss a beat and was very accommodating to us all. We always come here when we are in the Dells“

The atmosphere felt quiet and intimate, and the restaurant had a joyful vibe. The restaurant itself is a bit dated but it did feel like a traditional Wisconsin restaurant. The restrooms were clean. The restaurant has an outdoor patio with live music during certain times and a Happy hour at the bar was available at certain times too.“

“I ordered a couple pizzas and an order of wings on a Friday night. The wait time was about hour (as I expected). Order arrived right on time, the wings were EXCELLENT even after being packaged up and transported and the pizza was hot fresh and very tasty. Service was friendly and even carried it into my condo. Definitely will be coming back.“

My steak was 8 ounce fillet and it was the best fillet I’ve ever had and we love to go out to eat and it’s hard to make us happy so I am very very pleased and would recommend this place to everyone. “Really appreciated the Starbucks Cafe for morning coffee. The food & drinks at The Boathouse Restaurant were very delicious. Our room was clean & spacious. Loved that the hotel is right off the Riverwalk path that leads to downtown. Pool & hot tub were really nice. Gorgeous view!“

“3 star instead of 2 for two reasons. First and foremost was the bartender/server the night of 05/01/24. Really nice guy, especially to our kiddos. Second is the concept. The loaded tater tot ideas they have are good. Serving size on the loaded tots were good as well. However, execution is inconsistent at best. I'll start with the good. I had the torta tots. Pork was super tender and flavorful. Ancho chili sauce was delicious. "Pico" had banana peppers, which was actually a nice twist. Tomato & onion chunks were way too large. 3 starts overall on that dish. Mainly cause of the pork and sauce. Next were the pizza tots. Pep and sausage were decent. Sauce was a MAJOR fail. Not everywhere needs to do a homemade sauce obviously. At least use a good pre-bought one though!!! It might has well have been straight, crappy tomato sauce. Lastly, STAY AWAY FROM THE MAC & CHEESE TOTS UNLESS YOU UNDER THE AGE OF 5!!! How are you gonna be a bar/restaurant (not a crappy hole in the wall bar) in WI AND PUT KRAFT MAC & CHEESE ON SOMETHING OTHER THAN THE KIDS MENU!!! (Kraft in kids menues in WI is also questionable in my opinion). It was saved by half a star due to the ok cheese sauce and then made a little bit better by paying extra for the bacon. Also, ditch the paper on the bottom of the loaded tots. It disintegrates, and your guests end up digging the paper out of their food. Lastly, don't bother with the cheese curds. WAY OVERPRICED FOR HOW MUCH YOU GET!!!“

“Car show was in town so was super busy, however we got seated right away with our family of 6. Our server Katie was great! She was really friendly and was quick with my coffee and my numerous refills! Food was good. We were in and out fast considering how busy the place was.“

“Didn’t try the buffet but ordered a Shrimp Mei Fun (thin rice noodles) and Chicken with Broccoli. Generous portion and very tasty. The rice noodle with the egg and cabbage were really creative and the shrimp was plentiful. The chicken broccoli was cooked perfect, as the vegetables were crisp, not over cooked and chicken pieces were in the right proportion. The lady that I picked up the order from didn’t speak too much English but was very sweet. I’d highly recommend Wei and will come back again!!!
