“My husband and I eat at Cheddar's often. I love the food, the service, the prices and the atmosphere. I love the lemon chicken for it's flavor and it's not fried. This is the first time I have been unsatisfied with it as it was so salty I could not eat it. No lemon flavor at all. The rice was not seasoned as usual, either. I will go back but it this happens again, I will send it back. Maybe the cook was having a rough day.”

“I was looking for a place halfway between Lewisburg and Charleston with things for kids to do. The Chocolate Moose was perfect. Our bunch of three adults and six kids was a lot - a lot of noise, and a lot of energy. The staff handled our coffee (delicious!) and ice cream requests with patience and smiles. Because of The Chocolate Moose a crew of kid cousins who don’t get to visit with each other very often had a great afternoon together playing mini golf, eating ice cream and playing board games. We will be back as soon as we can.”

“So my wife and I wound up in Beckley for an event we could no longer attend. We decided to see what kind of fun we could have around town & came across Jimmie's Place. When we went in it was just us, the bartender Sam & the door guy Travis. They were very welcoming & Sam made some great drinks & was so very friendly. This place is completely under the category of dive bar but it was a really cool dive bar that I'm glad we went to. A cool experience. If we end up in Beckley again we will definitely go back.”

“Rio Grande #2 is my favorite restaurant in Beckley. Their food is wonderful and their staff is very friendly and accommodating. I recommend trying their Burrito Texano. Their mixed drinks are on point too!”

“Whoever is working the drive through window is the NICEST LADY I EVER MET. I have been coming a million times a day because of the sip club promo and she’s consistently so nice and never annoyed with me even when I do dumb things like park far away from the drive thru window. Her name may possibly be Rachel? I’m not sure lol”

“I've been to this store quite a few time, it was always pleasant but never noteworthy. Today, I was having an awful day and just wanted some food I didn't have to cook while on a budget. I call, and the gentleman proceeds to explain I could get a better deal on my order with a BOGO of the 2 items I wanted. It made my day that he went out of his way to take the time to tell me how to save some money, especially while I'm budgeting. When I got there I spoke to the manager and praised the worker for a job well done in customer service and care as well as told her how I was feeling and why it meant so much to me. The manager gave me a motivational sticker to help brighten my day, and it meant a lot to have that level of service and care with my simple food order. Thank you, Harper Road Gino's. I will DEFINITELY be back! Also, pizza was amazing as usual (always get extra cheese and some garlic dip!) and the baked spaghetti with garlic bread was delicious too! ??”

“Good, fresh food in a pick-all-your-ingredients style as you watch staff make it. Staff were great - especially the young man who built the first part of our orders. The birria was especially good - the steak was fine. I had the 3 tacos meal and did one birria and two steak. Next time I'll likely do all birria. The chips were hot and crispy, and the traditional salsa was good, but not exactly what I was expecting. It has almost a garlicky taste to it. Not bad - just different. The meals weren't what I would call cheap, but in this economy it's expected. My 3 tacos were $11 or $12.

“When you first sit down, they bring slaw and deep fried chips with duck sauce. Both are delicious! I ordered pork fried rice and it came with (my choices) salad and 3 cheese wontons. Again, delicious and large portion. I ate 3x on my order. You won't be disappointed! We ordered extra slaw and chips with duck sauce for home. DELICIOUS!!”
