“First time going here during the lunch time. Food was on the higher side compared with other Italian Rest. that are similar. The Calzone was ok but smaller than usual. It was a solid 4. Fries were fresh and came with the order. Staff was very attentive, in fact more than needed. They asked several times if it was to go. I wondered if that was the preference. There was little atmosphere.“

“Alas, a really spectacular meal can still be found in north central WV. For years, we celebrated our special occasions at the Wonder Bar, but recently it has quite simply not been what it once was. On the advice of friends, we decided to try Julio’s for our 10th anniversary. Despite not locating our reservation, they still made room to accommodate my wife and me. My Perfect Manhattan was crafted just right, the house salad dressing was superb, and our filets were absolutely fabulous. It was so refreshing to find that a great restaurant is still out there. For the past several occasions, I’d resorted to cooking at home figuring “why pay for a meal out when I can make better at home”. Julio’s gives me good reason not to cook and leave the task to their talented chef! Thank you for a wonderful experience!“

Everyone LOVED the food and kept asking where it was catered from. Top notch customer service and top notch food / delivery. We had cucumber salad and chicken salad croissants, a fruit tray, a veggie tray -both included dip, and a cheese tray.“

“The restaurant is 87 years old. I'm 82 and I've just had the most delicious delmonico steak ever. And for dessert treat yourself to a generous helping of spumoni. Real spumoni!

And its all served in a gracious atmosphere based on the history of the brothers who founded the restaurant and their children and grandchildren.“
