“Restaurant has been an icon in the area for years. Noted for good Italian food. Stopped for lunch on a cold Feb day.... It was cold inside as well... Second time recently for lunch there and second time it was cold inside. Will not go during the winter months again. Had a bowl of potato soup, it was good. Server wasn't the friendliest. Plenty of free parking and tables available. Nice cozy bar area.“
“Ordered pizza on a Friday evening for delivery. This was the first I had ever ordered from there. Pizza arrived when he said it would and it was hot. The driver was really nice. I have to say this was the best pizza I have ever eaten.. Everything about the pizza was fresh. You could tell it was made to order and was not sitting in some kind warmer. I look forward to trying other items on their menus. Don't forget to tip the driver. Dealing with the public is not an easy thing.“
“While this is tucked away from Main St, Uniontown; this place boasts a wonderful menu and service! This small business gets 5 stars from me. My party of 3 loved all their meals as well. We had braised scallops, chicken with pasta, a classic Italian dish, and veal dish. The appetizer of tomato bread was fantastic! Please try that if you get the chance. They all raved over their dishes and we accompanied our meals with a glass of wine. Our salads were delicious and came with house made dressings. We had the white chocolate cheesecake for dessert and it was the perfect ending.A couple of caveats:you order by the glass and are unable to order bottles of wine.We did have the place mostly to ourselves because this venue doesn’t get much attention tucked away. Most places were closed which changed our search area or we would have missed this establishment. We were unsure of where to park but did follow one of the side roads along the building. Some signage would be great.A few ideas to spice up dinner: oil to dip for the bread that comes with the meal. I saved mine for my salad dressing which was lovely. We ordered a small side of pasta with our mains because it does not typically come with the entree. Adding this was perfect together! For a new place and our first time; it is a new staple in our group. Excellent staff and a small bar is also on site!We could hear the kitchen pounding meat at times which became fun for us to gaggle over. We plan to revisit this establishment. 4.5 stars from this gal and stumbling upon this turned out to be a very nice dinner.“
“I generally don't rate chain restaurants. O.G. is fairly consistent in serving good food. The only thing I dinged it a star for was the Zuppa Tuscana soup. I usually love it. This time it had hard pieces of the stalk from the kale in it. I have never had that at an O.G. before.“
“Where do I start?? This AMAZING spot is tucked away in the city! Easily accessible from downtown! They have plenty of off street parking!! Listen, we all ate for under $25 and we ate GOOD! We ordered the pizza special and it was VERY GOOD. It exceeded my expectations! The atmosphere was SUPER WELCOMING AND VERY NICE. The staff was ALL super friendly and helpful. I truly enjoyed our first time here. We WILL BE BACK. Lord Willing. You gotta try them!!! Five stars in every category! ??????⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Parking: Super Convenient!!“
“Our favorite pizza in connellsville. Try the pickle pizza or pierogi pizza!! Their junk yard wings are amazing. Wait time is always less than they quote. One time a driver wrecked in the terrible weather delivering to our place (they were ok thank goodness). They replaced our order, threw in an extra 2 liter and offered us a free pizza on our next order.Kid-friendliness: Lots of highchairs for kids if they need them. Plus, it's not a bar so it's not loud or crowded usually.“
“We went out as a family to have a nice early dinner. Had a reservation and only waited about 15 minutes for our table. There were 8 of us. So before arriving we looked online for reviews and looked at the menu. We learned very quickly that the menu and serving sizes are no longer the same as reviews on Google or Facebook. So I'm here to share. So my son and husband thought that the pizzas were a personal pan/small. They both ordered their own pizza. The waitress never said a word. You would think she would say like hey These are LARGE FULL SIZE pizzas, but she didn't. So when their food arrived their puzzas took up so much space and left very little room to eat. We learned we will ask going forward but at an expensive restaurant most servers will say something. Even before the pizzas came there was not much room to eat. The sun was blinding half of us but after seeing the table next to us pull the blinds down on their own we did the same thing. That's usually a server thing but hey maybe she was new or shy? I don't know. Also the youngest at the table was my nephew who just turned 12 that day and he ordered a sampler and wings. When a child orders wings and you know your restaurant serves HUGE JUMBO WINGS that could feed the whole table why wouldn't the server say anything? To me that just seems like common courtesy, I don't know but I've reviewed a lot of places and seems like common courtesy. The food comes in VERY VERY large portions so I suggest to get an appetizer, enjoy the AMAZING BREAD and oil they serve and SHARE a meal. Trust me on this. I wasn't a huge fan with the meal I got. I got the gnocchi lasagna (I believe it was called). The tiny mini meatballs reminded me of the meatballs in Spaghetti Os. I hate to say that but that's exactly what they tasted like. The gnocchi was very very gooey. It wasn't worth the price and the size was a such a waste. We ordered mozzarella logs and those were great! We ordered the Calamri and it was a little chewy but wasn't horrible. The wood fired pizza even though we had way too much of it was pretty good. Nothing special. You do NOT get fresh mozzarella slices on the pizza like photos online show. Everyone else at the table seemed to be happy with their meals. Every single one of us had to get 1 or 2 take out containers bc the serving sizes are so big. So if you go do not be scared to share. I also recommend when making a reservation to make a reservation for a plus 2 so you have room to eat at the table. We had to move our chairs around to even have elbow room to eat. They do have a bar if you n just want to go in for drinks and a nice meet up for lunch or dinner. They have amazing local wine they also offer. We will go back but next time we will be asking our server questions. Lesson learned.“
