“We are staying at the lodge and stopped for dinner. They were not crowded for a Friday night so we were immediately seated. We were seated by the back window, so there was a nice view of the forest behind the lodge.They have a nice selection of local beers on tap. We ordered the onion rings as an appetizer, they were crispy and served with a sweet and sour dipping sauce. I had the half chicken and my wife ordered the half rack of ribs. The food came out of the kitchen pretty fast. The food was presented nicely, the chicken was moist and the ribs were tender but I was missing the smokiness of a good BBQ. Served with baked beans, which were tasty and slaw, which was a little bland. Corn bread was good, though. The food was decent. Service was friendly and good.“
