Price high, but very good. Brisket sandwich with excellent fries.

Maybe we should have made a different choice. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't great.
I've been to many restaurants run by state parks and this one was definitely one of the best. The menu is smaller, but everything we had was done well. The brisket was excellent and the beef stew was extremely flavorful. Mashed potatoes and gravy were delicious, as were the baked beans. Phebie, our server, is an asset to this establishment and was friendly, efficient and helpful. I would definitely go back if I'm in the Blackwater Falls area again.
