“I found High Ground Brewing while on a drive just exploring the area. I didn't originally plan to stop in Terra Alta, but then I saw the sign for High Ground Brewing and decided to check it out. It was such a memorable experience. I wish I had written this review sooner because I wish I could name drop the guy behind the bar that served us. You could tell he was invested in the brewery because he was so passionate about the beer they serve. I mean you know it's good when he says, "I'm going to make you try an IPA" after you say you don't like IPAs. Everything he gave me was excellent. I absolutely love this place. I highly recommend High Ground Brewing if you haven't been here yet. I will certainly be back the next time I'm in the area!”

“It was my first time at this establishment and I must say it was the ABSOLUTE BEST I have been at in quite sometime. From the minute we walked in the door the staff was VERY PLEASANT , FOOD WAS SERVED VERY FAST , HOT AND it was a group of 5 and our orders were all correct. I took my twins out for thier 21st Birthday & thier significant others . The staff sang HAPPY BIRTHDAY to them it was ALL AROUND A GREAT DINNER AND EVENING SPENT. “This little diner has an amazing appeal and atmosphere. It's right by the state park. It's very down to earth with great local staff that work incredibly hard and are attentive to your needs. REMINDER THEY ONLY TAKE CASH OR CHECK. However I have been told there is a place down the road with an ATM. Please note that when we went yesterday to my knowledge there was only one waitress who did her very best to seat everyone, take orders, etc. as efficiently as humanly possible. Also if you're reading this please be kind to your wait staff or anyone in the food industry. Back on topic of the food, my brother got the brunch burger which was amazing and very filling. Do note their portions are generous, as I could not finish my western omelette which was stuffed full of goodness and the size of half the plate. The price are incredibly reasonable considering food costs, service, and portions. The thing I truly love is that they support other local small businesses. They were selling tumblers out of the case by the register, as well as a local photographers work on the wall. Otherwise they were phenomenal 11/10 would eat there again! And will continue recommending it!Parking: Gravel lot park where you can find a spot.”

“Always a busy place, you really get your moneys worth the icecream cones are huge they have benches around if you want to eat there a lot of people eat in there car , I take my dogs we get a table I get my dogs half of a child size cone is they never charge me we sit at bench well we eat I enjoy going it's a very family place.”

“I saw the pits smoking away in the parking lot and knew I found something good! Awesome BBQ, had the brisket sandwich and it was the best brisket I've ever had and I've tried a lot! I also smoke my own meats at home and this puts mine to shame. Wife had the grilled chicken and said it was delicious, nice char on the outside and juicy on the inside. Oakland is a very small town and this place is a gem! Highly recommend.”

“It’s good enough to where you don’t need to cook dinner at night when you get home from a 8hr shift or a 16hr shift.Parking: I really cannot really beat to much of the parking question up. only due to the Arby’s shares a parking lot with shop & save so there is plenty of parking for everyone.Kid-friendliness: Massive sit down area for folks & children if the desire is to dine in or there is a drive through if that action needs to be taken.Wheelchair accessibility: There is plenty of room for wheelchairs to move around & plenty of parking as well. Arby’s shares a parking lot with shop & safe. So not only can you get your groceries but you can also get dinner to if the urge to cook is not present there when you get home.”

“This subway is very clean now I don’t know what changed but it used to not be so clean . Anyways I went in last night after my Walmart trip and was promptly greeted by Craig who also made my sub . I can honestly say for the first time my sub was perfect by the time I got home and had just enough ingredients to satisfy every bite . I don’t usually do reviews unless it’s negative but our experience with Craig was so pleasant my husband said we just had to. He was very professional ,positive and kind . “The food was good. They have cleaned the place up and have gotten caring workers. The food was not cold and they waited to make the sundaes until the food was done. Most of the time, they make the sundaes and the sit there and melt. Then when you leave they melt all over the place. Was much better this time then in the past. “Wow what a huge joke and disappointment since the remodel. Went inside everything is touch screen, the so call chairs are a joke low to the floor. The food went up in price and the amount of food on the taco's, burrito etc is a huge joke. First time in since the remodel and last time stopping there period. Super disappointed in Taco Bell ????”
