“I was really disappointed a while ago (a year or two? What even IS time, anyway?) when I thought they were getting rid of the place. I live in Atlanta where they’ve been systematically removing every LJS I have access to, and I feared the same was happening here. NOPE! They built it back EVEN BETTER.

I stopped by shortly after they opened one Friday, and the food was the best I’ve ever had from a LJS. I had to go back through the drive-thru to get the rest of my food, as my order had been brought to me incompletely, but after eating my meal, I’ve come to the conclusion that I would crawl on my belly through broken glass back to this location if I had to. Everything was better than I thought it could be, and I couldn’t have been happier with my order.

It’s worth noting that for the same meal, this location was the priciest of the three locations I visited on my road trip, but if the quality I experiences is the way they do things, it was well worth it.“

“I was at Hardee's yesterday afternoon and the two women that were working were doing a fantastic job l really felt really sorry for them and the man in the back was not nice to them,they did tell us it was going to be a while because they were short handed but an hour was a bit long. I heard everything, he was super loud and rude. It was all due to HIS negligence.“

Parking: Small parking lot, but it's not usually too busy so there's lots of spots open.

Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access ramp on the sidewalk, right in front of the entrance. It's nice.“

“My 8 year old says your place is the best and that nothing is better than dairy queen's gravy and fries. I called to see if they served gravy and they answered quickly! When we pulled up they gave us an extra gravy! We have been in Connecticut where dairy queens there do not have gravy ??Thank you Elkins DQ!!!“

“This is one of the better McDonalds locations for sure. I am in the Elkins area about 6 times a year. Charlotte always happens to be there when I stop by and makes my day better. She is always on top of keeping the restaurant clean - I rarely see a crumb. She also always checks on me, whether to ask if I’ve been served yet or to see if I’m comfortable. Charlotte is very kind and provides top-notch customer service. It’s rare to see workers of her quality anymore.“

“There was a mixup in the time my order was to be delivered to my workplace... my fault. I thought I was placing an order for 11:30 the next morning but turns out it popped up on the restaurant's computer as "deliver now" .... but it was 10pm and obviously no one was there. Long story short, I felt terrible and wanted to somehow make it right. But no, the good people at the Elkins papa John's assured me not to worry, put the pizza in a nearby "blessing box" where hungry people can enjoy it, and promised to remake my order and deliver it again in the morning. They wouldn't take any more money and were as nice as could be. Kudos to the delivery person, manager and owner for outstanding customer service. I goofed but they just kindly took care of it. Impressive! I am definitely a loyal customer!!“

“I have been in fast food a long time and I know it's a stressful job, but they always have a hard time keeping help. I have had good days and bad! But honestly it is still one of my top picks. I would rather visit during breakfast or lunch when the GM is there because my food is always right. Today I just stopped in for a quick sandwich and I have never been as surprised as I was today! I always ask for extra extra pickles because for one I'm a pickle lover period and for two I'm pregnant so my love for pickles is amplified by 100 lol 😂 today they put a whole small chilli cup of pickles in my bag and I was so over joyed about it I had to call the store and thank them! Keep up the good work guys!! I know stuff gets hard when other slack and don't do their part but y'all got this!! Team work makes dream work!“

“Thank you cleaning the play area. It was disinfected and very clean for the kids to play on the slide and climbing stairs. The staff was friendly and courteous!

Kid-friendliness: Staff Always offer a paper crown to my granddaughter and she enjoys the surprise toy. The play area was very clean! Thanks to the great staff.“
