“Great place for a good quick meal and desert too as long as the ice cream machine is in use. Decently priced too!
Dietary restrictions: The burgers are a little greasy so if you are worried about your health or appearance then I suggest avoiding the burgers.
Kid-friendliness: Kids love the happy meals because they always come with a toy. Too bad they took the playground out so there's no longer a place for the kids to play but it's still a great kid friendly place.“

“On our way Home to Michigan. Spending the night in Charleston WV stopped at Bowlesboys up the creek. Bar none the best BBQ Brisket and Ribs we have ever had, the sides were delicious, portions were big, prices reasonable. What a find can't say enough good things about them.“

“Over the past few years, East End Pub has become a regular destination that my group has included in our roster of go-to lunch spots. EEP makes an incredibly good Chicken Bacon Swiss sandwich that, IMHO, cannot be beaten. I have taken over a dozen friends and family members with me to lunch and every one of them have become regular customers of EEP. Their egg rolls are delicious and always in demand, and I have yet to encounter a menu item that disappointed. It is a small space with limited parking in its front lot, but there is ample parking along Washington Street or on East Avenue. Susan, who tends the bar, and Kendall who waits tables are always a pleasure to see and they take good care of their customers. As word has spread through town, EEP has gotten more popular and crowded, but that’s what good food will do. We have taken to arriving early to beat the lunch rush. My group of friends have ordered everything from EEP’s burgers, to hot dogs, to East End Egg Rolls to half a garden salad with a (seasoned or not) chicken breast on top, to the Rueben and to my favorite, the chicken bacon Swiss sandwich, to the breakfast platter and everything in between, and all the food has been delicious! They definitely have some of the best French fries in town! While it’s a small establishment, it’s a great size for a local neighborhood pub and a great place for lunch or dinner, or just a few drinks at the bar. They have specials for lunch that regularly change and are written on a chalkboard on the wall as you go through the front door. You seat yourself upon entering; one does not need to wait to be seated. It also has a great location at the corner of Washington Street and East Avenue which is at the foot of north side of the 35th and 36th Street bridges to Kanawha City. Overall I’d rate East End Pub at 9 stars out of 10 due to its excellent food, great service and pleasant atmosphere - and those awesome French fries!! If you want a casual tasty meal, some drinks or beers, or all of the above, East End Pub is an excellent option!“

“We decided we wanted some "bar food" tonight for dinner. corn dog wasn't what I was expecting and wasn't for me and that's fine. I will just know better next time. Everything else was SPOT ON!!!! Bartender was friendly and BUSY. Nice Lil tucked away gem in a small town. show them some love. Paddlers burger was on point, make sure you are hungry though if you pair it up with chili cheese fries“

“This is honestly is the most consistently good Burger King in town. Staff is always super polite, and the food is always hot & fresh. For Charleston’s fast food sector, especially one that’s inside a gas station, this place is among the best.“

“My husband & I stopped here because we couldn’t find a food place closer to us on our drive…We are so glad we did. Food was really good & the burger patties were thick. We both agreed that the food reminded us of the old days/burger joints on how they used to taste. We definitely will be stopping in again!“

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Tudor’s Biscuit World in Kanawha City is a true West Virginia gem. There’s nothing quite like starting your morning with a hot, buttery biscuit piled high with eggs, bacon, sausage, or even fried apples. Their breakfast is hearty, homemade, and consistently delicious—just like Grandma used to make.
The staff here are always friendly and welcoming, and even when it’s busy (which it often is, because it’s that good), they keep the line moving with a smile. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing something to go, the service is quick and the food always hits the spot.
My go-to is the Thundering Herd or the Ron—can’t go wrong with either. It’s comfort food that feels like home, and no visit to the Kanawha Valley feels complete without a stop at Tudor’s.“

“Very good place the food was delicious and the staff was very friendly and helpful although they have a small washroom or restrooms but atmosphere in the store is fantastic. Chill.
They have ample space for truck parking. It can fit up to 12–15 trucks at a time.
Yes, you can park your RV overnight and have a very good breakfast in the morning just on the side is braum and Walmart across the road“

“Drive thru order on a long trip home. Didn't have much time for food the previous day and was half sick from not eating breakfast by the time I reached this place. I had not been here since I was in teens. I had no clue what to order as I don't eat meat I was in hurry to get home but needed to feel better and it was lunch rush which gave me major anxiety about staring at the menu. I explained quickly to the worker and she swiftly suggested the country gravy & biscuit meal with hash rounds. I got that along with a plain butter biscuit for a snack later and some nice crisp sprite. It was the most delicious meal I had the ENTIRE WEEKEND! This was on 6/9/25 and I just wish I lived near one of these restaurants. I'll definitely be visiting again when I'm in town.“

“My family stopped by on our way home from camping, so we decided to go through the drive-thru. As our order was being made, one of the employees handed my husband a small cup of plain ice cream because she saw our dog in the car. She smiled and spoke to our dog, told him to enjoy. Then she handed our order out the window with a smile. I'm very pleased with the service that we received, only wish we lived closer to visit more often. Thanks again Elkview DQ, you rock.“
