“Wonderful service. Friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Food is fantastic & served quickly. Recommend to all.
Parking: They have a very large parking lot in front of the restaurant, as well as having a lot of parking in the back of the restaurant, if you'd prefer to come in the back entrance by the deck, outside eating area.
Kid-friendliness: Large kid-menu & a pin-ball game for kids to play.
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchairs have easy access to the inside dining area of the restaurant, as well as a wheelchair ramp that goes up onto the deck, outside dining area.“

“From the moment you walk in, it has a nice atmosphere. The decor is nice. I love the Bible verses and prayer and praise walls. The waitress we had was quick and friendly. The food was good. We tried the loaded house chips, they were good but for the price I would have expected the toppings to be more visible and on more of the chips than there was. I ordered a cheesesteak and my son ordered 2 of the hot dogs. We both got macaroni and cheese as our side. The macaroni wasn't my favorite but he liked it. We got pepperoni rolls to try for lunch and salads. The housemade ranch is really good! Though I don't typically like mixed salads, the cucumbers were nice and fresh! The pepperoni rolls were great and probably a must for each visit to go home with us for lunch the next day. 😋“

“I've been dining at the Gables since 1975. Larry and Sue Navicki have always been the greatest hosts and good friends to all of their customers. In all the years I have dined there I have never had a meal that was less than superb. It is 5 stars every time. I live out of state now but rest assured every trip back to the area includes at least one fine meal there.The Navicki family is one of the finest families I have ever known.It is no wonder why the meals are so great....they are a great family.“

“LOVE this spot! 100% best bowling and entertainment in southern West Virginia! If you’re looking for indoor fun and fellowship in the New River Gorge, this is the place (although they also have a DOPE patio! Gluten free options and killer food/drinks. Worthy of an order independent of the bowling!“

“I stopped here during a brief visit to WV and have been craving the Miner biscuit with bacon, hash brown and melted cheese ever since. This was the best breakfast sandwich I ever had, with every ingredient homemade and fresh tasting. I wish they had this place in Michigan.“
