His local salmon dishes and oak barrel, top tier steak? It’s life changing. Every meal feels like a gift, every bite a reminder of why this place stands above the rest. If you find yourself anywhere near Tucker County, don’t just stop by—make a pilgrimage. Thanks for the crab lump, shrimp flatbread. It’s pure joy.”

“We were in the area there on vacation this week. They are some of the nicest people you ever wanna meet. Miss Elsie is the sweetest! I really enjoyed her company and talking with her as she'd come by and wipe the machines clean. If you get a chance to stop by here, do it. I will definitely be goin back.”

“We stopped in today for the first time ever and we will undoubtedly return! Hot coffee, a delicious reuben, and perfectly cooked fries were second only to excellent service! Clean, comfy and welcoming atmosphere. We loved that the tables were actual dining room tables and the cups holding the sugar & sugar substitutes were actual pieces of Carr China manufactured in Grafton, WV! We look forward to stopping in again and hope to save room for pie next time because they looked amazing!”

“Terrible food, employees have a terrible attitude. My iced coffee was full of grounds and when the employee remade it (after rolling her eyes at me) it tasted awful and didn't have any ice in it. The burgers were small and pathetic and the fries were limp and soggy. The fountain drink tasted watered down and gross. My ten year old even said it was the worst McDonald's he's ever been to.”
