“This A&W was attached to the Par Mar store and BP gas station. Little crazy around the intersections, but manageable. Having the Par Mar store also helped to refresh supplies for the road trip and I refilled the tank.

I went with the Number 1 Combo. It came with a Double Papa Burger, Fries and I got a Root beer float for the drink. It was less than $12 for everything. Felt like a kid again getting the float 😂

Plenty of seating and very clean. It wasn’t busy and very quiet too for eating in. Root beer refills were free, so I had my fill. Nice quick stop for food and gas as I needed a break from driving.“

The service was good but not exemplary, and the atmosphere was typical of this kind of restaurant. The bean dip, which is basically just queso with refried beans in it, was one of my favorite things I've ever eaten. The salsa was delicious. Everything else I tried was respectable for a Tex-Mex restaurant.

I'm not sure I'd suggest making this a travel destination like I did, but it's definitely worth trying if you're in the area.“
