“Good prices, they serve coffe, desserts and breakfast sandwiches. They have giant cookies, but if you are looking for a sweet cookie this is not the place for you, and if you are looking for a cookie that isn't filled with sugar then this is the perfect place for you. I did try the lemon pound cake which had no lemon flavor. I had a burbon mousse cup and it was so good and again, not overly sweet!“

“Today was our second visit to Joan +Joe’s. And it did not disappoint. The Midwinter Latte was SO GOOD!! My husband got his hot & I got mine iced & both were delicious. Last week my husband got the Caramel Dream & he liked it as well. Very good quality. And the whipped cream is so yummy too. The staff is so friendly & welcoming. Looking forward to many trips in the future“

“Recently, we visited this cute little shop in the mountains. It has a lovely patio entrance, and the overall setup is really beautiful. It’s a great place to gather with friends. We tried the croissants, banana gram coffee, and latte — the flavors were truly unforgettable. Definitely a must-try! The only disappointment was that there were no breakfast sandwich options. Otherwise, it’s a very cute and awesome place with amazing coffee.“

“Excellent & unique flavors offered each month. The Expresso Milkshake if a must try with any of the coffee flavored ice creams. The flight is a good start as it’s just enough to try flavors with 4 mini scoops for families and/or a date or friend. We’ve been fans since the beginning and if you like love poured into a homemade product this is your time to try it out. Enjoy!“

“Was in Shepherdstown with a group of friends and we ate here TWICE in one weekend. Great variety to meet everyone's needs (Vegetarian, GF, vegan, meat-eaters alike). The homemade soups were fantastic, salads amazing, sandwiches substantive. Will return next time we are in town!“

“I tried messaging them private but they never answered because I don't think one bad employee defines your whole bakery. My girlfriend and I visited your bakery last weekend. The manager on duty seemed a little agitated with a prior customer and had an attitde while we were ordering. She checked us out and then put our food in the microwave to warm up as we requested. She went to the back while we waited. We were standing there for about 5 minutes and when she came back to the front, she was holding a dirty plunger in her hand and grabbed our food out of the microwave. We were disgusted and ended up throwing our food away. We did not want to make a big deal and have other customers upset. I thought it was a good idea to let you know what was happening in your bakery.“

“I picked my sick 12-year-old son up from school today. He was nauseous on the way home so I pulled in to the DD parking lot for him to get some air. An employee who was just arriving spotted us and pulled right over. He asked if Addison was okay, then ran into the store. He came back with a cup of water and some well wishes. We’d all be a lot better off if there were more people like Edmund in the world. Thank you, sir, for taking the time to care.“
