“We were in Newcastle for a couple soccer games and decided to get the kids lunch at Subway. We walked in and had to wait for a decent length of time before we could even order our sandwiches (around 45 minutes total). Apparently the other person who was supposed to be working was a no call no show so it was ONE person working. Poor girl had been going non stop, no bathroom breaks, lunch break or even a chance to quench her thirst. She was friendly, but visibly exhausted. Kudos to her for working through her shift with zero help. Location was clean and food was fresh.“
