“First time going to Luna. The service was wonderful and the food was incredible. I ordered the two tacos and chips and salsa. I had one Raja (vegetarian) and Rock Cod. Both were yummy but the Raja was my favourite.My friend had the churro fries and loved them.Vegetarian options: A few vegetarian options which were absolutely my favorite. I'm not vegetarian but I often like trying different items off the menu.Dietary restrictions: I am celiac and had no worries when ordering off the menu. Everything was very clearly labeled and I felt very comfortable.“

The gluten free and gluten free/vegan ones are just as amazing as the regular ones, and so nice to have the option so that everyone in my family can have a treat. “Just passing through on our way onto and from Vancouver Island. When I first saw they used gluten free batter, I was excited but resigned to getting delicious fish covered in some type of batter. Gluten free fish and chip is rare enough that you eat what you can find and are grateful. Very much wonderfully surprised to bite into my piece of fried salmon and feel that crunch along with an explosion of flavor to complement the fish. The seafood cakes were also fantastic and we couldn't get enough. Only caveat is that seating is limited but what can you do when having a floating restaurant on a dock surrounded by boats? Loved eating our lunch and watching the boats arrive and leave the harbor. Made sure to come back again before we left the island.“

“Whenever we are travelling I always look for places to eat or have coffee that are above average.Bocca Cafe was rated high when doing a google search when looking for the best Nanaimo bars in Nanaimo and so we went and we’re not disappointed.We ordered the salted, peanut and regular Nanaimo bars to share with friends and they were all delish.Would recommend.“

“Last day I went there and had butter chicken poutine. It was so good. And it’s my favourite one. I’ve never had a poutine like that before. Moreover the customer service was good. Very friendly employees. Definitely gonna go there every time.“

“Favourite restaurant in Nanaimo and best Thai food outside of Thailand we've had. Their restaurant feels like a jungle with lots of house plants and a full grown tree. Love the atmosphere. Owners are also very personable and hospitable.“

“Me & my partner had our dinner here at terminal avenue. Upon seing yang chou fried rice we were happy since we came from singapore. We ordered ramen soup & yang chou fried rice and it is savoury and very delicious. They have big portions as well & were so full. The place is clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We'll be back for sure to try other food. Thanks for the delicious meal.“

“Excellent overall. Food quantity was good, veggies were crisp and fresh, taste was great. The brownie was especially excellent and the cinnamon cheesecake was also great. The online order takeout came in nice reusable bags.Only lost a star from not including a lemon and/or tartar sauce for the fish and chips, which is pretty normal to do.“
