“"I had the pleasure of stopping by the A&W in Devon on my way through town, and I was really impressed with both the food and service. The staff were friendly and efficient, making sure everything was prepared fresh and with a smile. The classic breakfast was hot fresh and tasty as always, and the Beyond Meat burger was delicious perfectly cooked and full of flavor.

The restaurant was clean and welcoming, with a nice atmosphere to relax and enjoy your meal. I also love when the staff comes to my table asking if I need a coffee refile or anything. It’s clear they take pride in providing a great customer experience, and I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town.“

“This donair is top tier. Perfect balance of sweet/salty and the meat is perfectly spiced giving it a little kick. Proportions are perfect with lots of meat and not too many veggies (the veggies are very fresh and crisp). The sauce sticks in the donair really well which is what you want, not dripping a bucket of grease like many other mid donair shops. As a frame of reference, for the south side, this to me is a step higher than Donair Bros. It's comparable to a couple great shops in Halifax (different, but same level of enjoyment). A masterpiece.“

“A good place for classic burgers and fries. For a fast food chain the burgers and fries are very good. You pay a bit more but imo the food is a step up from your typical MacD’s, A&W and Wendy’s. The self serve free peanuts is a nice touch. Because of the open containers of peanuts and their use of peanut oil, 5 Guys is probably not be suitable for those with peanut allergies. The staff were very good at taking our order and we got our food in short order. The parking directly out front can fill up but there’s usually lots of space in the lot towards the Homedepot.“

“Had a really good experience at this Edo Japan location. The store is clean, organized, and the kitchen area looks well managed. I could see the staff preparing food fresh, and everything seemed hygienic. The menu boards are clear and easy to read, and ordering was smooth. My food came out hot, nicely prepared, and quicker than I expected. Great place for a quick and tasty meal.“

“I never in my life would take the time to make a google review but for this place I need to. I went here for a quick lunch with my girlfriend, and I have to say that the nice filipino man who was at the cashier is a great person. While eating I would catch glimpses of him just working so hard and with such a sort of good energy. I wanted to give him a tip but I had no cash on me so I figured to just write this review. If any manager sees this he definitely deserves a raise and I hope the best for him.“

“I had the greatest experience here today 07/26/25 around 2:40pm! I don’t want to misnspell her name but I believe is maria or something like that she was at the cash register inside and she was absolutely amazing! She had great energy she let me take my time with ordering and when I mentioned how my sprite had tasted slightly off from their machine she offered to remake me one from the back! If I didn’t have to work after that I would’ve cried she was just amazing PLUS she remembered my name and said bye to me when I left. I 100% believe she deserves a raise and employee of the month or something cause I will gladly be coming back if she’s working greatest experience I’ve ever had here! If she sees this thank you girly you absolutely made my day better“

“Every time I walk into Edo Japan, I’m welcomed with smiles from the entire staff. The atmosphere instantly feels warm and comfortable, like a place where you can truly enjoy your meal. Their positive energy makes you forget how tired you are and just relax.

One staff member named Dom really stood out to me. She goes around checking on customers, making sure everyone is enjoying their food. You can tell people love her, especially her cheerful voice when she says “Hello” and “Thank you.” It brings so much life to the restaurant.

The whole team is amazing, friendly, and professional. They truly deserve recognition and, honestly, a raise. Excellent service all around!“
