“I often visit late at night after work, and unfortunately, my order is sometimes missing items or the coffee isn’t made correctly. The service can also feel rushed at times.

However, whenever the gentleman with glasses is working, my experience is completely different. He always greets me with a smile, asks how my day has been, and checks if I need anything else before I leave. After a long night of work, that level of kindness really means a lot.

He is a great role model for the rest of the team and truly deserves 5 stars. Thank you so much for making customers feel welcome!“

“Hands down the best fast food joint I’ve been to in years. The restaurant was extremely clean, the service was quick and the gentlemen were super friendly and kind. I had a donair burger- the bun was so fresh and soft, and the meat was literally perfect. As a picky French fry critic- theirs were worthy of driving across the city and beyond for. My kids rated their burger and poutine a 12/10. We will definitely be back and telling all of our friends about it. Give this place a try- you won’t be disappointed. Oh- and the house sauce…TO DIE for…I’d like that stuff off the floor 🤣“

“This donair is top tier. Perfect balance of sweet/salty and the meat is perfectly spiced giving it a little kick. Proportions are perfect with lots of meat and not too many veggies (the veggies are very fresh and crisp). The sauce sticks in the donair really well which is what you want, not dripping a bucket of grease like many other mid donair shops. As a frame of reference, for the south side, this to me is a step higher than Donair Bros. It's comparable to a couple great shops in Halifax (different, but same level of enjoyment). A masterpiece.“

“I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Five Guys. The staff here truly make this place great and are a huge reason it’s so worth coming back. From the moment we walked in, they were incredibly friendly, bubbly, and genuinely happy to help, creating such a welcoming and positive atmosphere.

“I preordered a pizza for pickup and when I got there, they realized that they put an incorrect ingredient. They made a new one for me asap, and let me keep the other pizza. I was willing to take the original pizza as-is, but they insisted that they make me a new one. Didn’t have to do that since I had already told them it was okay. I appreciate them letting me know they made the mistake and wouldn’t let me leave without the new pizza.“

One thing that really stood out was their kindness toward our daughter. Even though she didn't order from the kids' menu, they still surprised her with a cookie, which absolutely made her night.

While the prices are a little higher than your typical fast-food chain, the portions are huge and the quality makes it well worth the cost. You definitely get your money's worth.

“Everyone was quite efficient and my food came out hot. I ask for a thin patty and that's exactly what I got I also would just say they don't scrimp, on the pickles you get pickles on the whole burger not just in the middle. So all in all it was a great experience. Thanks FIVE GUYS!“

“Classic roast beef and fries were still warm after driving it home. Tasted like Arby’s. Inside is clean and looks like a fast food restaurant. Bathroom was very clean. Staff were pleasant and quick. Limited parking, like every other store on this side of gateway. Portion size was on par. I’ll be returning.

There’s another review that states Arby’s sauce tastes like nothing. Yeah, nothing you’ve had before. Maybe North American food isn’t for you. Especially fast food. But you still get it, because of the convenience. And still complain. Beef and cheddars are soggy by default it’s cheese sauce. Sometimes people make mistakes it’s not usually malicious like it was when fast food was employed by teens, always check your order before leaving any fast food this is the way. The Canadian way. Be nice respectful and thankful that these people are serving us, all we need is just a little patience.“

“My boyfriend & I love this place. I’m so thankful to be able to get delicious donairs again since finding out I’m Celiac. We usually order from SkipTheDishes and the owner remembers my partner at this point. He’s always been lovely and the food is so good. I’m about to order from here today also actually and noticed if you’re keto there seem to be keto-friendly donairs too! I really love the East Coast donair (gluten-free) personally and my partner loves the Maple donair which I’m pretty sure he also gets GF usually. He also loves the butter chicken poutine. I definitely want to try more foods here. My only struggle is I wish I could get gluten-free baklava. I see that there’s baklava but it’s sadly not gluten-free and it would be so nice one day to see a GF option for baklava there. I would buy so much. Thanks Prairie Donair!! “Had th black Angus burger with fries and crush cream soda a few times now. One of the better qualities fast food burgers... Up there with A&W or Carls Jr. I recommend parking by the Shoppers as the parking by the T&T is chaotic to say the least.“
