“Outstanding Italian restaurant. It was recommended by our daughter and her husband. Can't believe we hadn't heard about it before. Huge portions served piping out and very reasonably priced. Service and atmosphere superb. We will definitely be going again and soon. 64 years old and first time we've ever put in a review. It's that good!!“

“Sorrentinos always delivers a nice friendly dining experience. The servers were great. Our food arrived promptly and was hot. They allowed a bit of time between the appetizer and the main course so we didn't feel rushed. I have ordered the Cannelloni numerous times but this time was not up to par. Actually too much filling which was dry. The Tiramisu didn't resemble the usual dish in looks or taste. Again we have ordered it many times and is it usually delicious. We mentioned the dessert issue and it was acknowledged by the server and removed from the bill.“

“Real food made with love. We just enjoyed a wonderful dinner with friends. The appetizers, bruschetta, and calamari, were excellenet. A simple but delicious broccoli salad was a wonderful surprise. A very generous portion of a traditional and tasty Pollo parmigiana was my main and it was delicious. The creme brulee and tiramisu for dessert were prepared perfectly. “Food is still great, service sitting in the Bar was terrible, also they were not busy and took forever to get your drinks.(never make people wait to get their bar drinks) Also waited too long to be able to pay. They do accommodate your special requests without hesitation. Which is good. Went for an early dinner , during the week.“

“This place is a favorite of a friend of mine, who is a local. I can see why it's a repeat visit kind of place! Great food and café variety drink selection. Creative tasty sandwiches, soup, salads, baked treats, and even quiches! Hidden in the heart of St. Albert's old downtown and around the corner from a more traveled road. A true gem that's worth going back again over and over, and hardly wanting to get the same thing twice! So much goodness to choose from! I'm already hungry for the next visit! 😋“

“Buco absolutely deserves 5 stars! The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. Every bite was delicious! Twice in a row I was lucky enough to have Rose as my server. I cannot praise her enough! She was warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout the meal. Service was fast, and she made sure everything was perfect. The ambiance was clean and comfortable making it a great spot for both quick bites and relaxed meals. Prices were reasonable considering the quality of the food and experience. I appreciate that they have gluten & dairy free options for appetizers, main courses and desserts. I’m hope they start offering vegan cheeses for their pizzas (and bring back their smoked salmon pizza that was to die for) I'll definitely be coming back and recommending it to others.“

“I personally am not a huge fan of most of the menu but the food is always fresh and this is my kids favourite restaurant by a landslide! We just did our back to school lunch trip here today and the service was very fast. (What I assume was) The owner made sure we were well taken care of a couple times and finished our visit with a lollipop for each kid :)“

So anyways since moving in to this neighbourhood a little while back i just order a pizza every time she ruins my food and its great. The staff are always so friendly and polite.

“We have been enjoying Tasty Tomato since they opened in the 1990s. Hands down the best pasta in Edmonton & better than Italy! Their boscaioli is my partner's favorite, their bruschetta (a non-menu item) is a must, the home made tiramisu is divine & everything is worth at least 1 try -- delicious 😋. Joe is a stellar host & the servers are attentive, but not intrusive. Still trying to get their secret recipes! 😉“

Appreciate the location of the restaurant and the small space as it feels a lot more intimate & like you are eating dinner with family. You will find happy families enjoying conversations and their meal - don’t expect it to be quite especially with Italians lol. Menu has a great selection, once again able to give enough variety for 7 unique people. Cannoli with both sauces was absolutely divine but all meals were authentic & looked amazing.“

“The service was really lacking; we waited a really long time before a server even came to our table and then continued to wait a long time for her to bring out the drinks. She also brought us oil and vinegar but forgot the bread to go with it, we didn't get the bread until quite a while later when we asked for it. The food on the other hand was pretty decent. We had the beef carpaccio to start with which was absolutely delicious, my husband had chicken carbonara which he really enjoyed and I had the shrimp and mushroom gnocchi which would have been really good if it wasn't so salty. Overall, I would rate the restaurant a 3/5.“

“I absolutely love the pasta but unfortunately I would have to say that I would have like to have seen them change there gloves between touching the money from the previous customer and portioning out my vegetables for my create my own pasta dish and then again after I paid and moving to the next person after me. Especially right now during the pandemic but I do have to say great pasta“

“Very nice romantic atmosphere, fine dining, great food. Except the Aragosta Risotto. The risotto is delicious, but be aware, the "whole lobster tail" is not lobster at all. It's a very small, 2 inches long tail of a langostino, size of a prawn. For the price of the dish there should be at least 3 of them, or just serve a real whole lobster tail.“

“We had our wedding here on Monday April 17th , I would 14/10 recommend this as a venue for any bride! We had both ceremony & reception here and it was absolutely stunning the staff are incredible & SO MUCH FUN! Josh was the bees knees he helped with absolutely everything weeks prior to the wedding & during he made our day flawless!!! The meal was incredible drinks made top notch & FAST! “As always, we love all of Daniel Costa’s restaurants, and Bar Henry is no exception. We’re probably here at least once a month—sometimes even twice or three times. The food, the atmosphere, and the service are consistently excellent.

That said, we were really sad to hear they’re no longer open on Mondays and Tuesdays. As a tenant in the Stantec building, we’re also very disappointed that lunch service is no longer offered. We’re tired of the sad salads and meals from Loblaw, and walking all the way to Sunterra just isn’t the same.

If Bar Henry ever decided to bring back some kind of “lunch-to-go” service—like Va, fresh salads, pastries, or something grab-and-go (even just coffee!)—I can imagine it being very well received by all the offices upstairs (myself included!). We especially miss the real coffee you used to offer.

Please don’t ever change the amazing evening service though—Bar Henry at night is always such a treat.

He politely introduced all the pizzas that were on display. If a full individual size ($8.95) is too much for you, they do offer a half portion ($5.00), which I chose. It was hot , fresh , and delicious. The owner was very pleasant and friendly. Great price for downtown office building. Highly recommend.“
