“A simple Thai menu with really good food. I went with friends and all enjoyed their food. A good place for take away our use the outdoor seating. A pleasant place to be away from the city but you are really just down the hill from it.

“We wanted a quiet place for a reunion dinner so we tried Pho Lotus for the first time tonight. It was nice and quiet. The service was outstanding. We were greeted immediately and got water within 30 seconds of being seated. Our server showed up to take our orders less than two minutes later. The food came out surprisingly quickly. Everybody was very happy with their food and the portions were big enough to provide another meal the next day. We will definitely be back.“

“First time tonight, killed my pork plate nicely sliced and crisp to it. Wifey loved the sesame gave it a 8/10 pork I’d say 9/10 more rice please lol and it’s a 4 most of your fountain soda were stale sorry. No where had a decent price on rice plate at a late time not to shabby 🫡“

“Right around the corner from the Four Points by Sheraton. Little bar /restaurant with large outdoor courtyard. Simple varietal menu delicious in taste amd comparable prices. First meal was a french dip that I had for a late lunch. Order chicken strips with fries to go for later as hotel only has breakfast. Not disappointed at all with flavor or price. Staff is friendly and fast. 3rd order is their 1/2 pound burger (pic doesnt do it justice) its huge with the works. Red onion sliced thin so adds flavor but not overwhelm. Fries crispy an lightly seasoned. Ordered to go and walked back to the hotel still hot. Thank you Bernies bumgalow for making meal time enjoyable and priced right. I will be a repeat customer ????“

“Alaska Taste of Thai had a great selection of items in the menu which consisted of curries, fried rice, soups and thai specialities. You can customize the proteins in most of the dishes by your choice. We found many vegetarian items which was helpful. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by their smile and warmth. They had a great selection of wine and beer in the menu including the famous Thai Singha beer. The fried tofu appetizer that came with the tasty peanut sauce was awesome. For our kids, we ordered the pineapple fried rice. The adults in our group went with yellow and green curry. Most items can be tuned to your spicy level. We were also provided with an array of spicy sauces and powder to help ourselves. The restaurant had a great ambience which made us felt being in Thailand. There is plenty of parking before the restaurant. They are very welcoming in their service. Throughout the time, they kept checking on us to help with anything we needed. Overall, this is the best of Thai restaurants in Anchorage.

“This place is always excellent. We love the handmade drunken noodles, the pad thai, and all of their pho dishes. This is the only restaurant that I've seen serving Khao Poon and Khao Piak, and it is delicious. This isn't a fancy spot, but there is plenty of seating, the service is wonderful, and the food is always delicious. This spot is worth the drive from Eagle River for take out, and it's always still piping hot when we get home. Thank you!

Dietary restrictions: Thai noodles and starches used are mostly tapioca or rice based, so most options are gluten free (ask for help avoiding dishes with soy sauce) and I don't think there's anything with dairy served here at all, besides Thai tea and coffee. There are lots of options for vegetarians, as well.
