“Despite of what others might say due to their experience at Mekong Pho in Anchorage AK. I've been going to this restaurant since it has opened. The staff knows my usual order which ranges between $40-$75 depending if I added any additional meats or noodles to my order. House fried rice with charziu and pork belly is one of my all time favorite dishes here alongside with their #16 BEEF COMBO PHO with extra noodles/meat. Out of all vietnamese/Asian restaurants, MEKONG PHO will always be #1. The atmosphere is what you expect from these American restaurants. “In my opinion, this is best place to eat pho here in Anchorage. This is the only place I’ve repeated gone back and not be let down. I love the pho, the spring rolls, and the smoothies!! The lady there is so nice and patient as well. This is a spot to go enjoy a peaceful environment and able to talk and hear the person in front of you. 10/10 would highly recommend.“
“Our office ordered lunch today, and I got the Seafood Pho. The seafood ingredients were almost non-existent. The broth came with 1 shrimp, 1 tiny piece of calamari and 3 small pieces of imitation crab. Definitely not worth the price, which also included a tip, by the way. Such a huge disappointment, and I would not recommend this place at all. If there was an option to give minus stars, that would be my choice.“
“If you ever visit Anchorage, Alaska in the winter time, most Asian restaurant has noodle soup I say every places comparable. Vietnam has variety location but one has been my favorite. It’s in jewel lake road. Very comfortable setting excellent service and so food. My recommendation is the famous noodle soup. They also serve Thai food such as Pad Thai noodles, Drunken noodles m, Pad Seiw, Lad Na, curry, etc. why dislocation is my favorite because they’re not just welcome you in quick, then kick you out soon you’re done as others Location lol.“
“Great food… expect to wait forever though. Was told 30-40 minute for my pickup.. showed up after 40 minutes, and was told it would be another 30 minutes. I’ve dined in a couple times before as well and each time took almost an hour to get our food. Time to look for a new pho restaurant.“
“My daughter and son-in-law brought me in. And I was so impressed! Not only was the service great but the food was amazing! The place was so busy only one table left when we got there and the business of pick up orders was non stop and everyone working seemed happy. Already have plans to bring family and friends back.“

“**takeout order**I used their easy ordering system on their website to do a pickup order. I purchased the pad Thai, gyoza and Thai teaEverything was delicious - except the chicken. The chicken was tough and seemed well...old. Not spoiled, but a few days in the fridge after being cooked old. Pad Thai was very good otherwise and very generous serving - easily two meals or split with a friend. Next time I will ask for extra peanut sauce on the side. I love that they took care to keep the sprouts separate so they can be fresh and crunchy when you get home and it helps complete the meal.Gyoza was good and standard and came with soy sauce.Thai tea was just too delicious I'm sad I drank it down so fast.Inside was nice and bright. They were very friendly. Their parking lot had 6-7 cars so I'm very hopeful PL is here to stay after watching this location struggle in the past.Oh! I also liked the texting about pickup times, updated pickup times and then also when it's ready for you to pickup. I look forward to trying other dishes.“

“I am not from the Anchorage area. I am in the hospital and wanted some good decent food and my CNA recommended this place. This resturant didn't disappoint me at all. I order the ribeye steak, egg rolls, and limeade to drink, and enjoyed every bite.Kid-friendliness: Menu has food that appears kid-friendly.Dietary restrictions: I didn't go to the restaurant but their menu has food for everyone including people with diet restrictions.“
“One of the best spots to get pho and pad Thai. Their prices has jumped due to inflation, however quality is still superb. I forgot to take a picture of the pho combo but here's a picture of me finishing it. I got extra noods and meat. Just shows it is great. Unfortunately the spicy Chilli oil isn't spicy anymore since they switched brand, but I digress. I normally order from this place from lunch using door dash as well. Hint hint.“
“We ordered the Pad See Ew dish, wings with fries and the banhmi sandwich. Staff were nice and friendly! Tables were clean and our food was brought out to our table quite fast! Servings are pretty decent and reasonable prices ???? delicious!“
“Placed a large order though GrubHub delivery and one of my dishes was accidentally missing. They refunded that part of the order and went above and beyond to comp me a replacement the following day. The food was delicious and they made everything right. Great variety of options and everything was delicious. Will definitely be back again and highly recommend trying them out.“
“Good spot for some Pho. The location is not currently correct on google maps but it is within the general area. The cashier/ server had great customer service and was able to hold himself very well. Was a one man show with all the instore customers and Door Dash orders. I had gotten the Pho Gai and it was pretty good. Nice taste on the broth and definitely plenty to eat in there. Would recommend hitting this spot up the next chance you get.“
“Whenever I pass through anchorage, I like to stop in and say hi to the family that owns and operates this place. I'm not a city guy but they always make me feel at home with very authentic family made Vietnamese food. The only thing I like when not eating caribou and moose! Thanks Gia Dinh!“
