“Been visiting this bar for 10 years now every time in on Juneau. Good music, chilled ambience and an amazing bartender, she's the best!! If you're looking to play some pool, crack a couple of cold ones and chill with your friends, this is the place!“
“The famous Red Dog Saloon is a throw-back restaurant and bar taking you to the late 1800's, complete with sawdust-covered floors, old-time piano player, wooden furniture and chandeliers. The restaurant features the pistol owned by Wyatt Earp, who accidently left it in the building after checking it in at the door. This is proudly displayed on the wall. This place can get rather crowded during peak meal-times, especially when the cruise ships come in, so there may be a wait to get a table. The food was good, but service may be slow during peak times.“
“Great hole in the Wall place here in Juneau right here off of the bay! Went in for a burger and got a bacon hamburger which was phenomenal!! We were a little disappointed that I had to add on tater tots and not being able to substitute them out. Thought that was kind of weird but whatever. Great atmosphere great food excellent hamburger“
“Great service, polite, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. Wonderful food - delicious! Parking can be a slight challenge, so allow a few extra minutes. Wouldn't change anything. We (table of six) was smooth and joyful, and everyone was more than satisfied with their meal and portion size.“
“We really enjoyed Imperial Bar. Most tourists went to the Red Dog because it seems like the place to go since I suppose it's closest to the port perhaps? But me and my wife like to dig in and go have a brew with the locals. That's what the Imperial is. A little off the beaten path but gives you a great taste of a local Alaskan bar. Red Dog might as well have been an Applebees. Great ambiance and service.“
“My husband and I missed our flight from Texas to Seattle and had to meet our cruise ship in Juneau. A firefighter recommended the Sandbar for the best halibut and we always trust the locals! Spent hours talking to some guys at the bar and enjoyed the mountain views. Very friendly atmosphere and great bartender!“
“We arrived in the borough of Juneau less than a week ago and have been taking advantage of the days before the cruise ships arrive! One of our favorite local discoveries, is a local bar called called Squires. It is a sports bar with a good view, t.v. 's, pool tables, cheap drinks and great service. Morgan was our bartendress and she was fantastic; not only making great drinks, but sharing so many ins and outs of life in Juneau. There is a separate business for food tucked in a corner called The Anchor. The food is fantastic and the owner emulates that warm, welcoming Alaskan spirit that we have come to adore.“
“Great experience. Some of the reviews were brutal but we decided to try anyways. Glad we did. The service was fantastic. Family ran and loved having a conversation about life with the teens working here. Made it personable. We ordered bacon wrapped scallops, mac n cheese bites and the king crab bucket and was delicious. Would definitely come back. Thank you for going the extra mile. Neighbors were friendly and talked travel and town stuff.“
“Chill, drama free bar with lots of locals. Fun trivia on Thursdays night, for those who don't take trivia or themselves too seriously. The staff rocks, and they remember you by name after only a visit or two. Also, bartender Izzy is the best.“
“In a bar there are very few critical factors.Liquor options.Bartenders.That's it.This place does them both perfectly. Rosemary was stupendous. She helped me create an amazing cocktail. The elderflower old fashion lives on. Huge selection of bourbons. Great bar.“
