Base Camp Bistro is conveniently located inside the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge. If you are staying there, it’s an easy spot for dinner. It does get busy so you can expect a wait either on a table or on your food. Servers work incredibly hard. Everyone is truly trying to provide great service.

Great views and great service! Vanessa was super friendly and helpful. The food was just okay though. The halibut was fine but seemed odd to serve it on corn, beans, and spicy sauce. My taste buds were a little confused.

Food was spectacular, better than foraker and much more affordable. Highly recommend if you're staying at the lodge!
