“Plenty of close parking in the lot. We arrived after dinner time and it looked clean. I didn't visit the bathroom though. Good chicken oriented menu with a few regional specialties. We did have a little trouble with our order in that our shakes were forgotten from our order but that was corrected when asked.“

“They are a small business food truck that demonstrates nothing but exemplary customer service. My husband went by while they were in Helena for their to die for peach crumble. They were out of the dessert but they offered to make half a pan for us and said they will have it ready the next day at their next location at Shelby Baptist. I went by to pick it up and not only did they have it ready but they brought it out to me at my car. They are such nice people and I’m very happy at the customer service they display. Let’s support Battle Axe and I urge you to make it a point to go by and try all of their scrumptious food. Thank you Battle Axe.“

“We wanted a unique and local place. A hole in the wall if you will. The store front said this is it. When you walk in it doesn't look like a sit down restaurant, and there aren't many seats. Ms Dawson greets you from behind a wall and comes around to take your order. Plan to be patient as she cooks it fresh and is a solo operator. The burger was well worth the wait. Definitely give it a shot for lunch.. just don't be in a hurry.“

“The burger was delicious. Incredibly good. However, it took 50 minutes to get it. Once we got it, the fries were lukewarm, as if they'd been sitting there. Hubby was told they tend to get slammed on Monday's due to lack of staff. And Homewood schools were having a jazz concert. So try on a day other than Monday. And maybe specify fresh fries. But, do try it. Patty's are handmade. Fresh beef. Nice large burger. Prices a little steep. Cheeseburger was $10,99 and basket of fries $4.50. I did not get the sauce that comes on the burger. I def recommend. And the venue is hard. There is an app to pre-order was not available on Monday night.“

“Waitress was awesome. Food was just ok what is hurting Applebee's, BWs, Red Robin, and other chains is that their prices go up while their quantity goes down. I don't mind paying for quality and Quantity. When they match up its a five. We love Applebee's so we will continue to go to the establishment.“

We spent less money here than we would at Taco Bell or McDonald's! If I lived over by it, I would literally eat here every day!!! I got fried catfish, the Cajun ranch fries and a small chicken salad. “Stopped in on a slower Tuesday to try out. Met Theo and he took good care of me and my food. Wings were a little small, that ain't his fault but they were cooked perfect. Theo was 100% professional and you can tell this man can cook. Ask if he's there next time you order.“
