“My first impressions were this is a very nice environment. Bright, open, airy and organized. I was excited to try the confetti cake bcuz I'd seen it at the Vestavia Hills location, but they were sold out of them. I'm not a regular customer so I wasn't sure if this cake was their first roll-out of large, shareable desserts. Anyway the cake was presented to me before it was boxed up and I was satisfied with its appearance. I finally tried some later on at home and was surprised that it tasted like a fine dusting of cornstarch was present on it. I mean, that's the first thing that came to mind. The cake had a large crumb like a box cake would. Overall, I was somewhat disappointed but I chalked it up to it being cold, as they keep certain desserts refrigerated. The baker did tell me the cake was brushed with condensed milk, which isn't a bad thing. It adds another layer of flavor and moisture. Well, at this point, I put the cake in the cabinet overnight. The next day, it tasted way better! I gave half of it away, and finished my piece. I can't wait until the strawberry shortcake rotates back around.“

There was a very decent variety of ice cream flavors also a good amount of toppings. Overall it was a very good ice cream place, considering since I've moved south it's been hard to find ice cream places besides Dairy Queen and Bruster's.“

“I stopped by Hello Bakery and was blown away by their delicious croissants—but what really stood out was the owner's kindness! I bought four pastries, and to my surprise, they gifted me a free almond croissant! 😍

Croissant Quality:
The croissants here are perfectly flaky, buttery, and freshly baked. The plain croissant had a crisp exterior with soft, airy layers inside, while the almond croissant (my free treat!) was rich, slightly sweet, and packed with crunchy almond goodness. Absolutely delicious!

Customer Service:
The owner was warm and welcoming, and the free croissant was such a lovely gesture. It’s rare to find a bakery that cares so much about making customers happy!

“Wonderful experience! This is a family-owned, boutique-style bistro, where the owners are directly involved in every detail and experience of their business. My experience: excellent coffee recommendations - delicious blend of Mexican hot chocolate and espresso. The Churro Bites were warm with the perfect texture. The shoppe itself is so clean, classically designed, and beautifully decorated. The coffee! Jasmine’s intentionality in choosing blends that are complimentary to the ice cream selection (and the churros) - that is beautiful attention to details most people take for granted.“
