“Very disappointed in our visit tonight. The triple chocolate yogurt was out, 4 of the toppings in the wet bar were out, and the marshmallow topping out. We asked the employees (who were on personal phone calls the entire time we were checked out) if there were more brownies because I was really looking forward to them. We checked out in 2 separate orders so our kids could start eating while we made our desserts. No receipts were offered for either transaction. I went to the bathroom before leaving, and the bathroom was out of paper towels.“

“I was craving some good chicken tenders and coleslaw. I remembered seeing this place and wanted to try it out. 10/10 in my opinion. The chicken tenders are so tasty and the sauces are all great. We tried bbq sauce, honey mustard and ranch. We also had the fries which were amazing! We will definitely be back to try other things on the menu and to try some of the custard. The price for 7 tenders, regular fry, coleslaw and 2 extra sauces came out to a little over 20 bucks.“

“I visited Neighbor’s today with three kids that I babysit after a trip to the park across the street. We had visited a few times before, so I recognized the man working behind the counter. He greeted us kindly and got the kids their ice creams. When it came time to pay, I went to tap and my card declined. This is where Neighbors stands out. The young man behind the counter said it was okay, and to just repay them when I returned. “Edgewood Creamery has become one of those places where consistency keeps bringing us back. You know what you are getting, and that matters. The ice cream is always creamy, smooth, and on point.

One thing I appreciate is the sheer number of flavors available. There is enough variety that you can stay with your favorites or branch out and try something new every visit.

For our family of four today, we ordered three large shakes and one two-scoop bowl.

For the shakes, I like that you can mix flavors and create your own combinations. We mixed two different ice cream flavors into two of the shakes.

I went with the Twixie and Insta Graham combination. Twix candy bar and vanilla mixed with graham cracker ice cream and graham crackers. Good mix of chocolate, crunch, and graham flavor without one overpowering the other.

My wife went with Red Velvet and Chocolate Fudge Brownie. Rich combination if you like chocolate-heavy flavors.

One of my daughters stayed loyal to her usual Red Velvet shake. Sometimes when you find your favorite, you just leave it alone.

My other daughter got two scoops in a cup with Carrot Cake and a caramel flavor. Nice contrast between spice cake flavor and sweetness.

Customer service was good as always. Friendly interactions and no issues during the visit.

The atmosphere also deserves mention. It has that old-school neighborhood ice cream shop feel. No frills, no trying too hard, just good flavors and a place that lets the ice cream do the talking.

Overall thoughts:

Edgewood Creamery continues to be our go-to ice cream spot because they deliver consistency and variety. Not every place can keep quality steady while offering this many choices. If you are taking the family out and everyone wants something different, this place checks that box.“

“I stopped by the spun cow expecting to try a cookies and cream milkshake. However, once I got there i saw that they have a banana pudding flavored ice cream and asked to try a sample of that... I was BLOWN AWAY. I ended up getting the banana pudding milkshake and have to say it was amazing, I've never had anything like it before. I'd definitely come back again!“

“I cannot say enough good things about Aaron at Crumbl Cookie. Tonight was my nephew’s 10th birthday, and he is absolutely obsessed with Crumbl. Unfortunately, because of work, I wasn’t able to get there until about 10 minutes after closing.

I called the store just hoping for a miracle, and Aaron answered. Instead of turning me away, he asked what I wanted, took my order over the phone, and told me to come see him when I arrived. When I got there, he greeted me with the warmest smile, handed me my box of cookies, and took care of everything.

He truly didn’t have to do that — but he went out of his way, went the extra mile, and showed genuine kindness just because he knew it would make my night. And it did. More importantly, it’s going to make my 10-year-old nephew’s night too.

“Great Customer Service! They are often understaffed but they are always quick to say hello and make sure you know they are there to help. You might find a dirty table now and again when a rush comes through but this place is very clean!! I can't even imagine what prompted the bad customer service unless someone was eating their yogurt before it was weighed but even then they will remind that signs are posted and it's just not allowed. This is because there is no flat fee for the yogurt and toppings... its weighed. People who eat their yogurt before it's paid for are literally stealing. 🤔 I drive from Birmingham because of the Customer Service and they have the best Acia Bowls around! yummmm“
