“We had the fried green tomato appetizer, which was amazing. The breading was very tasty and light. The sweet tea was on point. We also had the catfish platter with coleslaw and french fries. It was fried perfectly, the batter was light and not greasy at all. The hush puppies were delicious, loved the corn and jalapeño inside. Everything with melt in your mouth. Can’t say enough about the excellent service as well. Will definitely be back and take friends along next time.A wonderful surprise off the beaten path.“

“The cove is pretty good, it's a little hidden and off the beaten path but the waiters have always been good, I've never had a issue with my food the multiple times I've ate there, I'd suggest the fried mushrooms, they also have a large selection of cakes and pies that are very tasty, usually the cove is half packed or less, I hardly ever have a wait time but that's not a reflection of the food.“

“This restaurant is not much to look at on the out side but don’t hesitate to go inside.A quaint little place, very clean, the staff was very nice and helpful with the menu.They have plates with lots of vegetables that are fresh made, not from a can. The pinto beans are wonderful and fried okra was cooked to perfection.Definitely get the bacon cheese burger, fat juicy hamburger topped with tons of bacon lettuce and tomatoes. Yum. One thing I will do next time is ask to skip the mustard and ketchup when they bring it out, only because it is so big I had to cut it in half to eat it. FYI: Put your condiments on after it is halved.The Baby bakers are little whole potatoes that are deep fried and are delicious! Like little baked potatoes. With some ranch dressing they melt in your mouth.I had to try the chocolate pie. Just like my grandmother use to make with three inches of homemade meringue browned on the top. This is real chocolate pie, nothing instant about it. If you like chocolate don’t pass on dessert, get the pie.We thoroughly enjoyed our visit here. The staff was over the top friendly, they even came out of the kitchen to visit. We will make the drive to eat here again.“

“Me and my bf went here for our first time on our way to our vaca getaway. The lady that worked there was so nice and welcoming. The atmosphere gave off a family diner vibes that been there for years even though they just opened. The food was DELICIOUS. We ordered mozzarella sticks, Philly sandwich meal and a cheeseburger meal. Everything was fresh and homemade. The M.S. was so CHEESY!! Best part.... actually left with full stomachs that were not hurting (most new places we visit ended up giving us bad stomach problems). If we ever come back on this side, we will definitely be coming back. I wish I took some pictures of the food, but it was in our stomachs by the time I thought about it lol“

“I've been 2 different times. Once with a group of adults and once with my teenage son after a baseball game. You will not be disappointed. I'm picky picky when it comes to my steaks, and this place served one of the best I've ever had. It's pretty far away from where I live, but definitely worth the drive, and if I'm near there for any other reason you can bet this is where I'm going to eat.“
