What makes Heritage House truly special is its atmosphere. The mismatched tables and chairs give it an eclectic, lived-in feel—like you’ve stumbled into a well-loved study nook or someone’s personal creative den. Whether you're a college student writing a paper, a professor reading the morning paper, or just someone enjoying a moment of peace, you’ll find your spot here. The space is beautifully unpretentious—and somehow, it always feels like you belong.
There aren’t books on the shelves, but there are plenty of coffee mugs—and each one seems to hold a little magic. From rich lattes to herbal teas, the beverage options are comforting and bold, just like the regulars who fill the space. The fresh-baked goods are a must—whether it's a scone, a muffin, or the surprise cake under the glassed dome, everything is made with care (and it shows). I always look forward to seeing what kind of cake they’re serving—like a sweet little surprise waiting just for me.
The staff is friendly, attentive, and welcoming—they know their regulars, they’re patient with newcomers, and they somehow keep things moving even when it’s busy.

“Scooter’s Coffee is always a win! The drinks are consistently delicious (highly recommend the Caramelicious!), the service is fast, and the staff is super friendly—even during the morning rush. The convenience of the drive-thru makes it easy to swing by on a busy day. Love having this spot in town!“

“I love this Starbucks! I’ve been coming here every day this past year. I have spent all 350 of my dining dollars here. The employees are so nice and they always make the drinks well. There are always several workers on the clock so service is quick and efficient. This place is run very smoothly. I love getting a caramel macchiato or and iced matcha latte. The grilled cheese is also addictive. They also update the art on the chalkboard often, and it’s always so cute!“

The menu is slightly limited compared to a full Starbucks (especially in the pastry department), but it's sure to fuel your caffeine fix while shopping. (Note: The Starbucks is inside Target and is therefore subject to Target's hours and closings.)“

“Esthetic of the restaurant is cute, but the food is honestly just “meh”. Nothing to go ride home about. If you’re a coffee lover, you’ll be disappointed lol. My iced mocha tasted like chocolate milk, but I’m also a 3 shots espresso drinker 😛. Overall I would come back when I’m in town to visit just because options are limited, but nothing I would be dreaming about at night lol“

“I went for the first time last night and could not have had a better experience. The baristas are young and precious. They really try hard. They apologized for my wait. I had just walked in. They work well as a team and are just so sweet. They had a question about how I liked the drink made and instead of guessing, they took the time to ask and get it right. The atmosphere in there was nice too. There were people studying and it felt very Christmas-y.“
