“I had a great experience at the Culver's in Foley! I wanted their strawberry fields salad for lunch, but when I went to the drive through, a huge power outage in the area temporarily closed the restaurant. The manager came to my car to tell me this; I jokingly said I don't get my favorite salad today, I guess. The manager offered to make the salad without chicken, which was fine with me, and at no charge. This was such a nice gesture and was truly appreciated! I hope Culver's sees my review and appreciates the great customer service by this young man.“

“This is more of a clubhouse than a bar. It's a nice place for the residents of One Club but I wouldn't recommend it as bar for the public to visit. I visited on a Saturday night and they had line dancing lessons. I would think they would have this during the afternoon and not during the night when people just want to drink, listen to good music,and have a good time. The only thing that was great was the service. Cha Cha was one of the best bartenders I've experienced in the area.“

“Friends and I went for the Sunday morning brunch. The seating area has a very nice view. The brunch had an omelette made to order area with many add ins. “We got there at 9pm, thinking they closed at 10. They close at 9:30 on Sundays. They were SO kind to us. The owner/manager came out to our table to make sure everything was to our liking, our waitress was amazing. We got the red snapper, surf and turf, sushi, lobster Mac and firecracker shrimp. Everything was delicious. The macaroni by itself on the surf & turf plate was the best Mac and cheese I have ever had. Lobster Mac was amazing. Steak was perfectly cooked. The fish was the best I’ve ever had. The way they told us we could stay as long as we like. We were tired from the beach so we left about 9:40 but wow, I’ll never forget this place! Instead of being annoyed, they treated us like gold.“

“So I read the reviews just now.. í just started working here and find it to be super cool! The staff is great . I read there were unfriendly staff members . Well I can assure you whoever that was is no longer here working . Because everybody seems family like and super friendly and accommodating to all who come to the texaco summit . Great food , very clean and stocked and extremely organized too . So if your experience before was awful. Try again I promise you will see a huge difference. We are here for you guys . As somebody who worked in the restaurant industry it literally makes me happy to see that. The food was ready quick, hot, fresh, and delicious. The space was clean as clean can be. “My daughter and I were there with her 10yr old golden. Of course we asked for outside seating, and were told an hour wait. Hostess did not get my phone # correct so when I didn’t get the welcome text I went back in. Another hostess changed it and neither one apologized for their mistake. Never broke a smile. Sooo we wait, and wait. Watched so many be brought in who clearly had not been there longer than us, empty outside tables with no one sitting there. I went back to the hostess stand to see how much longer, “it could be 3min or 15”, really. We finally got a table after an hour and 35min. We were put at the table next to the steps coming out on the patio, while there were two more tables open on the outside corner of the patio. Out of the line of traffic. Our golden was almost stepped on several times (one being the rude hostess) and the constant jarring of the ppl coming up and down the steps was very annoying. Imagine trying to enjoy a meal that you have waited two hours for and your table bouncing around. Our waitress was great and the food was excellent! Hostesses need to learn some manners as to how to be polite.“

“I tried the Tin Top for the first time today (lunch on a Saturday), I was dining alone, as I really just stopped by to check the place out. We are opening an Airbnb about a half mile for the restaurant and want to be able to recommend it to our guests. Food was pretty good, I had a basic hamburger and slice of key lime pie, I think that their dinners may be more impressive, as it is a popular spot. They have all you can eat on Wednesday, I believe it was mullet and catfish. They had a prime rib special on the board for $34. Overall it was a pleasant experience, however it took the staff 5 minutes to acknowledge I was there, they asked if I would like to be seated at the bar, when I declined the girl gave me a bit of an irritated vibe, she wasn’t rude, but just let her annoyance show a little, i was one person taking a full 4 top table. Once seated, it took my actual server at least 5-6 minutes to get to my table, she was very sweet, and super friendly. She got my order and bring my drink, she did a nice job of keeping my drink glass full, but my meal was delivered (by someone else) with no burger toppings whatsoever, just a burger on a bun with cheese… at $14 a little lettuce, tomato pickle etc is nice. It took her a while to come back and she actually noticed that it was a bare naked burger and fries, offered to run back and get toppings, that took another 5 minutes, bu this time my food was cold. When she stopped back she had my bill, but had not brought my pie (I preordered it with my food). She picked up the bill added the pie and you guessed it, it took her a really long time to come back with the pie, like almost 10 minutes. The pie is just key lime pie, it was not the best I have had and certainly by no means the worst, it doesn’t have any whip cream on it and it is a pretty small slice for $8. After I finished my pie it took a long time again to get my updated bill, and I actually had to grab her and just hand her my cr card to pay so I could leave. It took about 1 hour and 20 minutes to have lunch (1 person) it wasn’t real busy, I would say probably 60% capacity, and it was lunch not dinner, on a Saturday afternoon. I will definitely try this place again, as the food warrants a redo, but if the service is the same, this would not be a repeat for a 3rd visit, it good food, but not good enough to be sooo slow.“

“My husband loves liver and onions. That’s a dish I don’t cook at home. We’ve been here for 15 years now and on a regular basis we go to Kitty’s Kafe’ for liver and onions. He particularly likes the green beans. We love the people and the atmosphere. One day I’ll take photos of our cat to add to their collection.“

“While traveling down from Chicago, Illinois for our Christmas vacation, we were looking for something fun to do with the whole family one evening—and we’re so glad we found Gulf Bowl and Captain's Choice Seafood Restaurant!

We brought both families out for a night of bowling, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. The bowling alley was clean, modern, and had a great atmosphere. It was perfect for all ages—from the kids to the adults—and everyone had a blast competing and laughing together. The staff was friendly and helpful, making the whole experience easy and enjoyable.

After bowling, we grabbed dinner at Captain’s Choice Seafood Restaurant inside Gulf Bowl, and the food was fantastic. Fresh seafood, generous portions, and great service. It was the perfect way to wrap up a fun family night during the holidays.

Traveling from Chicago, it was great to find a place that made us feel welcome and gave our families such a memorable experience. If you're visiting the Orange Beach area and looking for family-friendly entertainment plus great seafood, this place is a must-visit.
