“Outside of the restaurant was pristine. Tiny waiting area, and on a Friday morning and weekend, you will wait for a table.Signed in for the wait list, and it took about 15 minutes. The server was nice and thoughtful. The food was good. The menu selection offered some regional favorites and an interesting mix of ethnic items. But if you just want basic breakfast items, they are off them as well.We sat near the upstairs windows about two tables away. And I think the grill cook was very busy because a team member rolled the floor to the ceiling window open. Which caused us to scramble in our purses for our Allergy Tabs‼️ Tree pollen season. Bad idea.It was an extremely windy day also.But we made it thru, the food was filling, and everything went smooth until time to pay. Our server brought us the wrong ticket, or I should say tickets with two different totals. We figured it out and brought it to her attention, and the issue was finally resolved .So if you're looking for a good breakfast, the food was great.“
“Amazing customer service, the chorizo was great, and overall was perfect. They gave us coffee and water very quickly while deciding what to order and everyone enjoyed their food, especially those fire roasted tomatoes. Yum! It was so good that, during our 3 day stay in Birmingham, we went twice.“
“We are in from out of town and we’re looking for a good brunch. We enjoyed our food, which came quickly, but the food tasted even better because the service was excellent. The hostess, server, busier, and cook were all friendly. Everyone in the restaurant looked to be enjoying themselves. The coffee was perfect strong. The prices are reasonable and the street parking was free.“
“Cold morning, and the fridge was low, so decided to order breakfast via Doordash. Spotted this and specifically decided to try it because of the salmon croquettes, something that reminds me of my Mom. I must say it was tasty, of course, not as good as Mom's, though. Enjoyed the meal!“
“I love kolaches, so I was extremely excited when I heard this was coming to town.These kolaches are different from the ones I am used to since they are round and a bit smaller. However the variety of options you have to choose from makes me want to keep coming back. I have had quite a few of the different savory choices over several different trips (as tempting as it is to overindulge, I have restrained myself at least somewhat). I personally do not care for the fruit options, if they were filled rather than on top like a danish, I might feel differently. So far I haven't had a savory option that I didn't like but I seem to keep returning to the 'Merica and Chorizo & Egg. The Mac & Cheese and Sausage & Gravy are really good too!If the location was more convenient to my office I would visit more regularly than the occasional swing by for breakfast on the way to work.“
“We have been to some wonderful Maple Street Biscuit Company's all over the country. This one is the best in my book. Why? Because of the staff. The normal Maple Streets are BUSY and normally chaotic. This one has had the beat vibe all morning, while still being busy. There is a gentleman who spoke to me who is an employee who noticed my red mug I like to use instead of drinking out of plastic. There was something about that guy. It's like he knows that Jesus Guy we are so fond of. The lady at the cash register was super sweet also. And the biscuits? A squawking goat made my morning MUCH better today!“

“I came over to waffle house for breakfast with my brother earlier this week. The servers were very kind and we were seated quite fast given the number of people in the restaurant. I didn't notice any precautionary measures for COVID-19, but I did appreciate that the place as a whole was being kept clean. I ordered the Allstar special but substituted my sausage for hashbrowns, and then got a chocolate-chip waffle as the side of my scrambled eggs. We very much enjoyed our meal and will definitely be coming back here for breakfast sometime!“
“Our server was amazing. She reminded me of of the Disney Princess Tiana. She was cool, easy-going, attentive to our needs at our table, but didn't linger or hover. She never left us waiting, either. She made great conversation and was kind, relatable, and hard working. I hate that I can't remember her name, but she tended to our table in the back on Friday morning around 8:15am. She deserves recognition!“
“First time trying Daylight Donuts and was pleasantly surprised. They were fresh and very flavorful - both the donuts and apple fritter. Service was excellent. It's probably a good thing that this place is not closer to my house or I'd be tempted to grab a few donuts from here every day.“
