We ended up getting a lemon cake jar, a lemon cream cheese pound cake, and two chocolate chip cheesecake sandwich cookies. OMG is all I can say about the sandwich cookie! “This is an awesome Latin-owned coffee shop, right here in bham. Everyone who works here is always welcoming. And, perhaps most importantly, the coffee is excellent. The shots are consistent and the beans are great. Oscar who manages the store knows his stuff. “Yesterday was my first time at Olexa’s and the experience was great. Our waitress was very helpful with her recommendations for a first-timer. She recommended the Smoked Turkey Sandwich with a side salad. It was delicious and came out quickly given there was a full house at lunchtime. We also had a slice of the quiche of the day which was delicious also. By the end of my meal, I was very full but of course, there’s always room for dessert. She raved about the cake and yes, I had a slice of the warm buttercream cake. It was so good. I’ve been raving about Olexa’s since yesterday and will return with family and friends.“
