“We’ve been eating at this restaurant for years. It’s one of our favorite restaurants in this town. The drinks are excellent and so is the food. The manager and wait staff also does a great job. We’re very fortunate to have this restaurant in Gadsden!“

“I have left this review in other spots in addition to this one. This restaurant earned the effort. There were three of us. We had 45 minutes to eat and then 15 to get to the courthouse for a meeting. I had seen the place a few weeks before and wanted to try it. When we arrived the parking lot was about full. Good sign for food quality usually. Bad sign for someone who only has 45 minutes to eat. We asked the wait-staff if they thought they could pull-off a 30 minute race to get our food to the table. She worked with us by advising what meals/items took longer to prepare and we said game on. Best burgers I have had in Alabama in a decade. T H E B E S T !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All three of us were in awe of how good the meal was. The wait-staff was fast, courteous, knowledgable, helpful, and pleasant. I am usually happy if I get just two of those in a server. Our server had them all. We are already planning to go back for a less rushed, more relaxed dinner soon. The dining room was clean, comfortable, and did not have the echo-filled cafeteria acoustics a lot of places do. Outstanding place. Outstanding burgers. Outstanding service. I highly recommend it.“

“My go to place when I'm wanting to eat meat and vegetables. It's about a 30 minute leisurely ride from my house, I usually ride down on my motorcycle. Always has several meats and veggies to choose from plus a salad and dessert bar. Make sure you take cash or check as they don't accept credit cards. Can't beat the price of AYCE for $12.“

“Stopped here yesterday while traveling for brunch. Service matched the food. Everything was top tier. The complentary fruit before our meal was a nice touch. Great drink prices. I ordered a poinsetta and the shrimp and grits, Hubby ordered the breakfast platter and the kids got a waffle with bacon. 💯“

“It was okay...nothing to brag about, she did make fresh coffee, however the grits were cold-barely melted the cheese, put so much h butter on out toast we had to reorder toast, bacon cramped on same plate as main meal, made an event of how much my military discount was...this location only discounts the Veterans portion of the meal...no one else. Two egg breakfast with bacon is now $12! 😬“

“We used to go here all the time. The food is great, all of it. The restaurant is clean, including the bathrooms, well-staffed/ well-trained staff, and well-maintained. The freshly brewed tea is some of the best around. (That seems odd to say in the heart of the South, but true. It's hard to find good brewed tea anymore.) We stopped going here because of the recent addition of a forcing a tip when paying with plastic. Mind that there are no “servers” on staff here. No one makes $1.66 an hour, thus does not deserve a tip.

Chicken Salad Chick, pay your staff a living wage, and don't force that responsibility onto your customers. Also, stop following the horrific trend of “tip culture” that is currently shoved down everyone's throat. We love your food and will pay with cash to avoid the tipping question.“

“The food here was great compared to other waffle houses I've been to, the waitresses were very sweet and polite! I had a very pleasant experience here, the cooks did really great with our food, the hash browns were made perfectly not over cooked or under cooked. I wish I remembered our waitresses' name she was very outgoing and pleasant to talk to. Compared to other waffle houses, the management here is doing a great job keeping the place running in tip top shape!“

“Initially I gave a 1 star because we had Been here since 5:50 it’s now 7:25, and still no table. I get that we are a big party; but don’t tell people 30-40 minutes and it be over an hour wait!!

However they redeemed themselves with excellent service and good food.“

“went to supper with my sister and we had a great waitress and wonderful food! the burger was good and so was their skillet queso. their customer service was great! when we went to leave my steering wheel was locked up and we were having trouble getting it unstuck to crank my car. there was two workers going to take their lunch and they grabbed two others to help us out. so four of the wonderful workers helped us get my car going! they were great!“
