“Last week I called to order for a customers job site, spoke with Natalie and from the first call to her arriving on the site, everything was absolute top notch! I had 130 people to feed and was worried to be honest, but the communication, the service, and of course the food itself, went above and beyond my expectations! For anyone looking to feed a crowd, give them a chance, you will not be disappointed!“

“The OmG poboy was delicious. Shrimp perfectly fried and super fresh! Even the lettuce and tomato tasted like it came from the garden. The tomato was perfect. I loved the sample of swamp soup, also delicious. I wanted to taste the gumbo, it also did not disappoint! Hush puppies perfectly flavored. Fries and okra fresh. Service was friendly, wait time was appropriate. Highly recommend. It does have an old vibe to the building. I’m guessing it was an Asian restaurant prior. Overall absolutely amazing, it’s definitely on my return restaurants in Foley.“

“We tried this diner the first morning we were in town for the 52nd Shrimp Festival. We were so impressed with the huge menu, the fabulous food, and the amazing service, we went back several times while we were there. Everyone there was so nice. Our server, Arwa was precious and created a truly joyful experience each time we were there. I hope we have the opportunity to visit Gulf Shores again soon. This place will be one of our first stops!! 💝“

“My husband loves liver and onions. That’s a dish I don’t cook at home. We’ve been here for 15 years now and on a regular basis we go to Kitty’s Kafe’ for liver and onions. He particularly likes the green beans. We love the people and the atmosphere. One day I’ll take photos of our cat to add to their collection.“

“nice staff.. great food.. plenty of seating activities there to do I highly recommend the pulled pork sandwich and the baked 1/2 chicken is excellent!! comes with zucchini and roasted red potatoes! a little pricey but I got it 2 different times it's worth every penny!! they cook the chicken and pork in a smoker and the flavor is really good!! my husband had the Greek salad loved it!! Great restaurant in gulf shores“

“Madelia was attentive and efficient, but accused me of not ordering the shrimp I had asked for (instead of saying, “Oh, I didn’t hear you” or “I’m sorry, I must’ve misunderstood”). Then, after she had left the check, we used the QR pay-by-phone option posted at our table. When we got up and left she chased us out of the store saying we hadn’t paid. I told her we had and walked back into the store so she could confirm.
The food was good. The atmosphere was good. And, except for making us feel like liars and criminals, I’m confident our server is competent and capable. I just wish our interaction hadn’t left a bad taste in our mouths….“

“Mudbugs is the kind of bar that doesn’t just serve drinks — it serves mercy.
I stumbled in on karaoke night and proceeded to unleash a setlist that went from Arthur Brown’s “Fire” (complete with unnecessary shouting) to Johnny Cash’s “Hurt” (which hurt everyone’s ears), then slurred my way through Sabbath’s “N.I.B.” before finishing with Sinatra’s “Mack the Knife” — more like butchering the knife.
In the middle of my performance-art meltdown, I toppled out of my chair and baptized the floor in a foamy tide of canned Guinness. Did they kick me out? Nope. The staff just smiled and kept the good vibes flowing.
Mudbugs didn’t just tolerate me — they made me feel welcome, like my drunken karaoke disaster was the headliner they’d been waiting for. If you want a place where you can sing terribly, spill drinks, and still be treated like family, Mudbugs is it.

“I'm very disappointed. I've ate at this restaurant many times from 2018 to 2022 and always loved the food, drinks and experience. we went tonight with new friends and were not happy with our server Taylor, not hospitable, my husband's filet mignon wasn't a great cut very tough, my tuna was a good fish but not impressed with seasoning, my kids both had fried fish and it was very fishy. then our server added credit card fee and thankfully manager refunded that five dollar fee. it was just a weird experience and no one really apologized. we don't mind paying for great food but the server was not kind acted like she was mad at us. I'm so sad“

“We have been eating here for years & it is always great as long as we pick it up in person. The food is fresh & very hot every time. The staff are always so sweet & very efficient. We prefer them over any other Chinese restaurant in the area.
Kid-friendliness: My 9 year old always orders off of the kids menu and loves that they give an opinion to order fries as his side. The portions and prices are great!“

“We walked in, saw the car & we asked can we sit at the car table and we were immediately seated. Brittany S. was our server and was fabulous. She was pleasant, smiled, joked with us & checked on our needs on a regular basis. When we were done eating, we asked if she would take our picture with the car and she said sure! We asked for a couple of angles and she happily did it! The food was excellent, came quickly and there was a lot of it. We enjoyed everything about our experience!“
